A very special day, for a very special couple, who are extremely close to my heart. 🤍

Boys, it only felt like yesterday that the three of us visited on the open day. We were frantically throwing out different ideas, drawing out multiple sketches of what we thought would be your perfect day. Somehow we managed to combine all of these elements and take your perfect day on paper into real life, and it truly was such a magical day.

I want to take a moment to firstly congratulate you both, but to secondly thank you from the bottom of my heart with trusting me with such an important aspect of your lives. I am beyond touched and grateful for your support, patience and kindness. You are such an amazing couple and I can’t wait to see you flourish in this next chapter of your lives together.

A slight change to last years door decoration for this lovely customer, more simple and understated with a talking point wreath hanging on the door. A great colour scheme used with a black door to really stand out.

A traditional twist to a modern home.

Standing loud and proud, with a mixture of ox blood reds with a rich green, not forgetting some extremely shiny imitation presents to frame this tree.

Another year decorating this beautiful home and another theme to add to the boy’s collection 😆.

A modern take on a traditional festive feel! 🍭

The use of the standard red and green tones typically used for Christmas’ past, but with the addition of the white layered throughout, you really get a different take on your traditional Christmas palette. Candy Cane Realness vibes! 😉😆

Black and gold… where do I begin! 😍😍😍 I’m literally obsessed with these matte black baubles with the soft gold! I find it such a sophisticated colour scheme!

The big baubles making another appearance this week! This time with some simple berry stems.

The red was at my clients personal request and it definitely was the right decision! This really works well with the colour of the front door.

And yet again, no rain🫣😆 I only have one more outdoor design to go! Fingers crossed 🤞

Back again for another year and it still feels such an achievement once it’s all completed.

It really is magical transforming this breathtaking home and adding a touch of Christmas sparkle. ✨

So some of you may already know, when I’m not busy with house of herts I am super busy at getting ready for Christmas.

From a trip to Holland with the team, to a crazy sketch in a note pad back in February it’s now open to the public for you all to see.

Trying every year to think outside the box to make it more exciting for you all. And I hope I have achieved that!

Last night was a great atmosphere and some lovely customers comments which makes all the late nights well worth it 🥰

With the kids heading back to school next week and the evenings getting a tad nippy… I’m thinking autumn! 🍂

I wanted to do something a little different this year. I wanted to create a more neutral colour palette for that autumnal feel. Using whites and soft greens for that alternative look. I hope you like it as much as I do!

I will be making a handful of this design so please get in quick so your not disappointed.

So, it’s been a while since I’ve been active on socials… the past few months have been spent on something special, and this special something I wanted to get it right before promoting the hell out of it!

So, it’s been a very long time coming, but I can finally say the House of Herts website is finally live!!!!

The website consists of a web shop where you can purchase the items shown in this post, as well as a portfolio of all my previous work. This doesn’t in anyway mean that I am taking a step back from private work, I get the most enjoyment out of my private clients and decorating their homes. I just thought it would make sense for me to broaden my horizons and step into selling items to you guys that would instantly give your homes that extra flair.

B***s and bums! What’s not to love!

A Great little vase for a space in your home you are wanting to style as an addition.

My customer requested to go for a mauve themed jubilee fresh door wreath to celebrate.

With some lovely wild inspired florals to match with the lavender pots either side of the front door.

Black and bleach, or tan and bleach… Which is your personal favourite?

To be honest, both work super well with our Hannah vase! They are such a perfect but smaller addition to any space needing a touch of elegance.

There are additional colour variations available in the bunny tails, so do make sure to let me know should you have something particular in mind.
