The biggest project I have produced so far - two weeks filming and many sleepless nights editing! But I enjoyed every minute of it!

Blank Wall Assassins & Atma Studio Presents: Temple of Cultures | Unknown is Unloved.

Temple of Cultures is more than just the final mural, it’s a coming together of people from all over the world with a shared goal, to create a meaningful piece of art that shows everyone’s voice matters.

This week we launched our brand new website created by the incredible team at Sparrow Digital with the fantastic video and images from Ajrvisuals showing off our space and our wonderfully candid members. We absolutely love it!

It just shows the incredible talent we have in our area and the fact that Cumbria Chamber of Commerce helped subsidise it’s creation also shows valuable support is available.

The biggest project I've done so far - filmed over 3 days at The Print Works in Carlisle.

In October 2020 Ben Eine & Lucie Flynn travelled to Carlisle in Northern England to work with Landmark Street Art to create two stunning pieces of street art. Ben Heslop the owner and artistic director of Landmark street Art explains, along with interviews with Ben Eine & Lucie Flynn why his passion for painting the streets is so important to this northern city.

Here's an oil painting I done of my gran. I wanted to go for the 'renaissance' look, so I used a black background and a small light and photographed her to resemble her posh sense of personality.

Chiaroscuro (an old renaissance technique for light in painting), was a big influence in this artwork.

For one of my university projects back in the day, I made a handmade book about the faces of Carlisle. I spent a month photographing Carlisle people and getting to know their lives.

It was daunting at first having to walk up to strangers on the street and asking for a photograph, but the more I did it, the easy it got!

Some people gave me the cold shoulder when I approached them (totally understandable!) but I learnt some great skills during this project. It made me more confident behind the camera so now I find it easy to talk to people and I can make them feel at ease straight away.

The Glenridding Hotel , located in the Lake District, asked me to create a promotional video and photography for their website that would showcase all the amenities, including the incredible food and coffee. The hotel was bigger than I expected and there was so much footage to capture and condense down into a short promo film.

Using my Aperture 300D light made all the difference as I was able to get perfect, even light in every room. Whether its video or photography, I always try to get as much footage as possible because when I come to edit, I have plenty of clips to chose from.

The Cumberland reached out and asked me to film a short documentary about Susan and her charity based farm. Susan is an increadible person who helps underprivileged childen and kids that struggle at school by inviting them on her farm to work and gain valuable experience.

I spent the day at Susan's farm interviewing and getting to know her inspiring story.
