To my lovely followers,

This post is a difficult one to write. After starting my own business in 2020, I have made the decision to hang up my tiara for a while and take a break. I will be putting my glass slippers away and taking some time to focus on myself.

Once Upon A Dream was quite literally a dream I had sat in my bedroom at university back in 2015/16. I wanted to move back home and start my own princess company. Life threw a few curveballs but in 2020, in the middle of a lockdown, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business alongside working full time.

I was a one woman show to begin with but soon got a couple of friends on board, and later I auditioned and gained some absolutely amazing performers. The business had its ups and downs, but I loved it. Every party and event made me full with joy. I hope there is a time I can don my glass slippers again and find that joy.

But for now, I will continue to have courage, be kind, embrace that hukkuna matata mindset and see how far I’ll go ❤️

This is definitely not the end of Once Upon a Dream, it is merely a “see you soon”.

Thank you to every single person who has booked me for a party or event. You made my dreams come true. I can never truly express how grateful I am for the past 4 years.
To my performers, I can’t wait to be making countless trips to the west end to see you all shine, because I have no doubt that’s where you’ll be.
To my friends and family, thank you for supporting me through it all.
To my Dad, who sadly didn’t get to see this chapter of my story. Before you passed you told me to “dare to dream”. Well, I only went and bloody did it. You would have loved all this.
And to my fiancée, I love you more than words can say. I couldn’t have done this without you.
And lastly, to myself: I know you feel like you failed, but look how far you’ve come. You did that. You started a business and you have performed in front of hundreds of people. You succeeded in what you set out to do. Be proud.

Hi everyone!
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to let you know my company’s event, Magic by the Sea, has been cancelled. For circumstances beyond my control, the event is unable to take place on Sunday 26th May.
I am absolutely devastated as myself, Michelle and my cast have been working hard on bringing you a magical, memorable event. I appreciate everyone who bought tickets, shared posts, told friends and helped along the way! The support means so much. Everyone who purchased a ticket will be contacted directly and receive a full refund - please keep an eye on your inboxes and check your spam too!
Once again, thank you for your support and for making my dream business a reality. Keep your eyes and ears open for more magic coming in the future ✨

50 days to go until our amazing show Magic by the Sea! 🥳💙

To celebrate our countdown, I want to introduce you to the first 3 members of our incredible cast!

Our gorgeous snow sisters Elsa and Anna will be played by the equally as gorgeous Tamzyn and Tia! Then our island princess Moana will be played by the beautiful Clara!

These girls all study musical theatre at Chichester Conservatoire. I have had the absolute pleasure of performing along side them at parties and I can tell you now that you’ll most definitely be seeing them on the West End or your telly in the future. I can’t wait for you all to see them SHINE ✨

Introducing…me! 🙋🏼‍♀️

I’ve had a lot of new followers recently so I thought I’d introduce myself 👋🏻

Hello! My name is Hannah and I am the founder and owner of Once Upon a Dream. I’m 29 years old (30 in November eeek!) and started my business in 2020 - but didn’t actually do my first party until mid 2021 due to covid! I graduated university with a BA honours in Dance and Drama in 2016. My first ever performance was when I was around 6 years old and played little red riding hood in a school play! I started princessing up in Liverpool whilst at uni and loved it so much I wanted to start my own company back home here in Bognor! I previously trained as a nursery assistant. My favourite characters are Cinderella, Aurora and Anna! The character I play most is Elsa! Random fact: I was once an extra on Downton Abbey! I have one cat, one dog and some fish! I’m getting married next year! 🤍
