SIXTY!! Christmas themed roast dinners today 😴🥵

A record number of roasts 🤩

Just because it was Christmas themed didn’t mean I wanted the snow ☃️❄️😳

Delivering in those conditions was a challenge to say the least 🫣

I really can not thank all of you who ordered today and had to wait way over your slot time for your lunch I lost count how many of you said ‘it’s fine just get here safe’ and then even when it was late messaged afterwards to let me know how much you enjoyed it 🥰

You guys really are the best and I appreciate all of you supporting my little business

24 Roast Dinners cooked and delivered to you 🥰

Roast chicken breast, creamy mash potatoes, braised red cabbage sea salt & thyme roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, green beans, honey buttered thyme roasted carrots a yorkshire, stuffing and lashings of homemade gravy

The next Sunday roast will be on the 3rd of December

The meat option with be Turkey and Gammon and of course with it being the month of Christmas 🫣 it would be rude not to add pigs in blankets too 😋

Guys just thought I’d pop on with a little appreciation post 🫶🏼 I’ve had to open my diary for 2024 🥰 This is the biggest compliment and when I started Date & Thyme I would never of imagined how busy you would all keep me.

That’s the thing isn’t it we’re all so busy in our lives that we rarely reflect and realise just how much we’re achieving. It was an early alarm this morning (up to make a batch of scones) and although at times I’m shattered from working full time and running Date & Thyme I really wouldn’t want it any other way (well maybe a little tearoom so you can all visit me) ☺️

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and thanks again for helping me fulfil my dream

It wasn’t even a year ago that was working away at the time telling me “it isn’t for me Mum I don’t want to work for someone else I know I can do it on my own”. I’ve never seen someone more motivated to make a life for himself and I’m so proud, just shows if you are willing to take a leap of faith and put the hard work in then it’s out there waiting for you. Well done mate I couldn’t think of anyone that deserves it more ♥️
