Beautiful Christmas cards for Joseph’s Smile

We absolutely love this beautiful card. Sian has done a stunning job in pulling our vision together and making it a reality for us. Joseph's final resting place is at the foot of the black mountain, at home with us. The design on the card depicts the beautiful mountains that surround our boy and our home, and shows him sitting on his special bench looking at the incredible view that we're so blessed with, as well as his beloved pet lamb, Mollie.

This card is very very special and we are so grateful to Sian for the effort and love she's poured into the design.
We're also completely blown away by the huge number of you guys telling us that you're planning on buying our cards and I can't tell you what it means knowing that this beautiful image of Joseph will be sent to and displayed in hundreds upon hundreds of homes all over the world for Christmas this year.
The back of this card also shares all about Joseph's Smile and the important work our charity does, so the awareness that this card will bring to Joseph's charity will be huge.

Every penny raised through the sale of these cards will go directly to supporting the children on our grant scheme. Your support will also help fund the production of our wiggly vests and our annual Christmas gift project, bringing gifts to children on the Rainbow Ward and other children’s wards across South Wales.
By purchasing these cards, you will make a huge difference to hundreds of children throughout Wales and beyond this Christmas.

Join us this Halloween for some spooky fun in our undercover trick or treat experience.
5 themed rooms, 5 treats, 5 ghoulish characters.

This is a bookable event and please note that it completely sold out last year so be quick to guarantee your space!

The spooky avenue is designed for children aged 5-11, but we recognise that every child is unique. As such, we welcome attendees of any age at the discretion of their parents.

REFLECTION

Tomorrow marks the opening of our Spooky Avenue and going into the 4th year of Brynamman Christmas Village . We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you all over the next week and with so many new followers joining us recently, we wanted to share the heartfelt history behind this special event.

It all began with Joseph.
Margaret Studt, owner of the fairground, saw his picture in the local pharmacy window as we were raising funds for life-saving treatment in New York. Without hesitation, she stepped in to help, and from that, Brynamman Christmas Village was born. The event featured a fairground, a hospitality area with mulled wine and food, live entertainment, mascots, and an outpouring of support from Margaret and the community. We felt an immense weight lifted from our shoulders, knowing we had such incredible backing to help get Joseph the treatment he needed.

Tragically, Joseph passed away during the event on 27th December 2021. Margaret and the entire village mourned with us, and they continue to share in our grief.

When we launched Joseph’s Smile, Margaret made a significant personal donation to help us get started, even gifting us Patch the Superdog, our beloved mascot who has since become a cherished part of our charity. We decided to keep Brynamman Christmas Village going in Joseph’s memory, and it has done just that—keeping his legacy alive.

Since losing Joseph, both our Halloween and Christmas events have drawn people from across Wales and beyond, giving us an incredible platform to raise awareness and funds for the children we support. These events allow us to share Joseph’s story—how his brief life made a huge impact and how his legacy charity continues to grow and make a difference in children’s lives. They also give us the chance to express our gratitude to the wonderful community that has stood by us from the very beginning.

As we prepare to open tomorrow, we find ourselves reflecting on so much. We see Joseph everywhere in the fairground. He absolutely loved it there and it was one of our last places to go as a family where we really enjoyed, let loose and had some fun together.
It is a special and emotional place for us with a beautiful blossom tree planted there in his memory, and we are so grateful for Margaret and her team’s unwavering dedication to our family, our boy, and his charity. We are so unbelievably thankful for all that they and our community did to try and save Joseph and we are thankful for the strong foundation that Brynamman Christmas Village has provided to help Joseph’s Smile grow and raise awareness. We’re also incredibly grateful for the chance to spend time with our amazing community, sharing stories and thanking the wonderful people who have supported us from day one.

We’re so excited for this Halloween event, and we’d love for you to join us.
