Whilst I was living in the United States of America my career path glided into the Hospitality industry. My journey started in a beautiful historic boutique hotel running small, intimate Weddings. From there I progressed to selling, planning and running Weddings, Social and Corporate events. After a few years I decided to enhance my experience by moving into the City and working with clients with
up to 10,000 attendees ~ Melanie Griffiths. We would love the opportunity to work with you to bring your dreams to life, your wants and must haves. We will work for you all the way from our initial meeting through to the day of your event, negotiating on your behalf to ensure you work within your budget. We are offering a complimentary meeting to help you on your way to creating the perfect day. We are now delighted to be offering our creative services for anyone looking for that something truly unique to add to your special day. Our beautiful bouquets are something to be treasured forever, while our lovely cascading china tea centerpieces will certainly cause a stir! Yesterday I told you a little about Who I Am.
Today I will tell you Why I'm Here...
I spent the early years of my life running the long corridors of a very prestigous country club in England, where my Grampy was the Head Chef and my mum, by day was a chambermaid and in the evenings she worked in the restaurant. Food and hospitality was always at the forefront in our family, so it was only natural that I would enter the industry later on in life.
I started my journey in a small boutique hotel in Salem, Massachusetts. It was during this time that I knew I had found my passion. From there my career glided into selling, planning and running Weddings, Social and Corporate Events, spanning 6 wonderful years, whilst living in the States.
Fastforward to 2019, when I was planning my own Wedding, I decided to create Beyond Expectations.
I am here to help couples make their visions a reality, from the planning stages to on-the-day coordination. I also create unique bouquets using a wide range of media, from vintage brooches and watch faces to beautiful artificial florals and more. I also have a stunning collection of vintage afternoon tea centerpieces.

I work with my couples to bring their vision to life. So if you are beginning your Wedding journey, I am here to listen, guide, design, create and provide on-the-day coordination.
