The best of British at the beginning of the year. Using eucalyptus, Ranunculus, Anemones & Hyacinth to name a few.

My wedding season starts in early Spring and finishes in Autumn as that is also when the British blooms begin & end (depending on the weather)

A little round up of 2024 💚

Feeling beyond grateful to the wonderful couples whose weddings days I got to be a part of this year by providing their dream floral arrangements. I hand on heart loved creating every one. Seeing your visions come to life and receiving such kind words makes me love my job more and more and I feel very privileged to be able to do what I love.

I also started working with Susie this year on her flower farm and I have enjoyed it so much. Susie is very inspiring with her approach to sustainability and hard work. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to be able to learn from her.

I am very excited for 2025, last month I finally met with all of my 2025 couples and we got to know each other and discuss their dream arrangements for their big days. Everyone has such different ideas and colour schemes and I'm so excited to get creating once again. Bring on Spring!

This was also my first year hosting wreath workshops and although hard work and very messy, I had so much fun doing them and got to meet some lovely locals. I look forward to hosting more next year ☺️

Finally, a very big thank you to every single one of you who has supported my little business this year. Every purchase, comment, recommendation, etc. Thank you 🩷 I am eternally grateful. I am a one woman show, but couldn't do it without the help of my husband.

Bud vases - my absolute favourite of all floral arrangements 🩷

They are so versatile. They are delicate and elegant. Can be used in a number of ways - ceremony table, top table, guest tables, they can be placed around your cake to create a floral wall, or dotted throughout the buffet table - they can be moved to different spots throughout your wedding day - placed on your bar, card table or maybe there's a gap that needs filling. You could even gift them to your guests to take home or use them the next day if you're having a breakfast or lunch gathering before your nearest and dearest head home.

You can use glass - clear or coloured -, vintage bottles, milk bottles, stoneware, tins, the list goes on. Your choice of vase may depend on the time of year and the flowers available that suit your choice best. For our wedding day we paired beautiful vintage blue bottles with purple, blues, pinks and whites. For an Autumn wedding I would have chosen stoneware to suit the darker tone of flowers.

Finally getting round to sharing some floral photos from our wedding day back in June.

I loved being able to arrange the flowers for our wedding day, along with the help of my best friend 🩷

With blue flowers being my favourite, it was lucky we chose the month of June to marry as the best of British blooms included cornflowers, larkspur, delphiniums, scabious, clematis - all of which come in beautiful shades of blue & purple.

We wanted to create a delicate natural, picked from the garden feel and use only local/homegrown flowers 💚

The bud vases/table settings were my favourite decor of the day!
