💜ARE YOU A NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLE?😍

Call your loved ones before posting on social media.
The question has been popped and you've accepted, You are SO excited!!

STOP! remember DO NOT post anything on social media in your excitement before you have told your family the happy news. I know you want to tell everyone but just wait for a little longer!!
Your immediate family may be aware of your engagement if your partner has asked for your hand in marriage from your parents, however, you need a special moment to let everyone know.

Once your closest family and friends know, then POST POST POST AND TELL THE WORLD 💝

What is the difference between a Celebrant and a Registrar?

Celebrants are often asked, so can you legally marry us? The simple answer is no we don't do the legal paperwork. We create the ceremony, the celebration of you joining your lives together, we tell the unique tale of your love story. Past, present, and future.

For couples wishing to be legally married, they can simply visit their local registrar’s office. Attending to the legal formalities a few days before the more personal celebrant led the ceremony.

The information below is taken from Stafford Register Office 2021.

A statutory ceremony at Stafford Registry office costs £57. It can take place Monday to Friday and will take place in a working office (i.e. there will be a desk, chair, cabinets). Only two guests can be in attendance, these two guests will act as the couple’s witnesses. It is not possible for Registration Officers to act as witnesses. The ceremony will not include any enhancements such as music, poetry or readings, or personalised vows. Although you can exchange rings if you wish.

🌟 ❤️The Magic Of Love ❤️🌟
Love is like magic, And it always will be,
For love still remains, Life’s sweet mystery!
Love works in ways, That are wondrous and
strange,
And there’s nothing in life, That love cannot change!
Love can transform, The most commonplace,
Into beauty and splendour, And sweetness and grace!
Love is unselfish, Understanding and kind,
For it sees with its heart, And not with its mind!
Love is the answer, That everyone seeks-
Love is the language that every heart speaks-
Love cant be bought, It is priceless and free,
Love like pure magic, Is a sweet mystery!

🖤Magical Place♥️
Dunwood Hall, nr Endon, Leek, is a family-owned charming Grade II listed country house built in 1871. There was so much to see, the architecture was just stunning, and so many interesting little gargoyles, dragons, and sculptures were hidden here and there!!. The gardens were also full of interesting little spaces and some magnificent trees 🌳

The house was originally developed with entertaining in mind, so the rooms flow easily one into the other. It really is a great place to have a wedding or any other special celebration. 💜

😁 Why Choose a Celebrant.?

Having a celebrant-led ceremony offers you more choice. We are not restricted on where or when we can deliver your ceremony. If you would like a sunrise ceremony…let’s do it! If you want to get wed in a secret garden, we would love to do that. 🥰

We can offer you complete flexibility in locations, timings, and the content of your ceremony. You can choose reading, poems, and music that suit your tastes.

Your ceremony is written from scratch as your celebrant gets to know you. We hold your hand and help you all the way.

Your ceremony is all about you or your loved ones. 💕

Simple yet effective styling, we loved this look. 💐 🕯️

The aisle was created, by leaving the grass long and cutting an obvious walkway to the ceremony space.

Pettles, candles, and flowered lanterns edged the path.

Rustic signs and a wooden stepladder adorned with hearts and flowers.

Thanks to the styling skills of Clair & Kelli.

The moment the owl flew the rings in for the bride and groom's wedding ceremony.🦉

This has to be one of the most awesome weddings we have conducted. It was such a fun day. The ceremony brought both laughter and tears, the owl was so beautiful, the bride and groom jumped the broom, then to be followed by all their friends and family!!, food and drinks were had, and the day was rounded off with a train ride for the whole wedding party around the wildlife sanctuary.

💕It was a magical day, filled with fantastic memories

I love words, I'm fascinated with Etymology - the study of the origin of words and the way in which their meanings have changed throughout history.

Here are a few Wedding words for you 😀😊

The term Wedding (n.) Comes from the Old English word weddung "state of being wed; pledge, betrothal; action of marrying,"

"Nuptials and ceremony of marriage" is recorded from as early as 1200's.

The Old English word for the ceremony was bridelope, literally meaning "bridal run," in reference to conducting the bride to her new home.

The term Wedding ring is from the late 14century.
Wedding cake is recorded from 1640s.
Wedding-dress from 1779.
Wedding-reception from 1856.

Did you know there are Eight Magical Festivals throughout the Druid & Pagan calendar? You can use any of these dates to Enhance your Wedding. 🌟

Find out how by popping over to my blog for more info.

Here is a snippet!!!

How can the ‘Eight Magical Festivals’ enhance your wedding ceremony? These ancient festivals also known as the ‘Eight-Fold Year’ follow the changes of the seasons that we physically see. They also form a cycle of celebration, marking special times of the year to honor the Earth. We give thanks for our blessings, join together with family, friends, and communities. These are auspicious and sacred times of the year. They give us an opportunity to gather with friends and family, to sing, dance, and reflect. Upon reflection, we may glean an understanding of our best way forward as we move on through the cycle of the year. 💐

🌞Here we are at the high point of the year again!
The Summer Solstice, a time to stand still. 🌍

Take a moment today to stand grounded, take a few deep breaths, connect with the Earth beneath your feet and the heavens above you. Make time to send a little love and light out into our world, The Earth, our home our Mother.

"May the light of the inner Sun shine on your path. May the Sun that is the source of life bless you, may it bless the people and all the creatures of this land. Let light flow from this space and time to all directions of the Earth. To her lakes and her seas, to her mountains and caves, her deserts and forests. May all who walk, crawl and fly on Earth be strengthened by this light.

Blessed Be, Em ###

🧹 Jumping The Broom!, what does that even mean!!!?? 💐

Well, It’s all about the symbolism.

The broom represents the threshold of the home, therefore jumping the broom symbolises stepping into a new home, a new life together.

The transition of stepping into a new stage of a relationship still applies to couples who already live together. The same is also valid for married couples wishing to renew their vows.

Jumping the broom together, the couple leaves behind old thoughts, behaviours, and patterns that no longer serve them.

The broom also symbolizes sweeping out old energies, clearing away any negativity. Sweeping away the old, makes space for new thoughts, feeling, ideas and energy. The couple can now join together with a “clean slate”.

May you need one another but not out of weakness.
May you want one another, but not out of lack.
May you entice one another, but not compel one
another.
May you embrace one another, but not encircle one another
May you succeed in all important ways with one
another, and not fail in the little graces.
May you look for things to praise, often say “I
Love you!” and take no notice of small faults.

If you have quarrels that push you apart, may
both of you hope to have good sense enough to
take the first steps back.
May you enter into the mystery which is the
awareness of one another’s presence - no more
physical than spiritual, warm and near when you
are side by side and warm and near when you
are in separate rooms or even distant cities.

May you have happiness, and may you find it
Making one another happy.
May you love, and may you find it loving one
another!

💐I love flowers, I always have them at home, I enjoy looking at their patterns, vivid colours, endless shapes.

When you look closely you can see the magic in them, In their nature and in amazing mathematic sequences!!

Look at the Fibonacci spirals in this daisy, I mean, how amazing is that pattern?

Fibonacci numbers or patterns were named after a 13th-century Italian Mathematician, Leonardo of Pisa who was known as Fibonacci. Each number in the Fibonacci sequence is created by adding the previous two together. It starts 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 and goes on forever.

This sequence commonly occurres among the structures of the natural world, from the spirals of a pinecone to the seeds on a sunflower or a daisy.🥰

🐶 No matter how close we are to another person, few human relationships are as free from strife, disagreement, and frustration as is the relationship you have with a good dog.

Few human beings give of themselves to another as a dog gives of itself. I also suspect that we cherish dogs because their unblemished souls make us wish ― consciously or unconsciously ― that we were as innocent as they are, and make us yearn for a place where innocence is universal and where the meanness, the betrayals, and the cruelties of this world are unknown. 🐕

One of the benefits of an outdoor wedding.

🔥You can have a blazing fire pit 🔥

The element of fire is so evocative, it captures many of the senses.

I love the smell of burning wood,
The feeling of warmth on my body,
But best of all, being mesmerized by the dancing flames.

We can call upon the element of fire and use its properties to enhance your ceremony.

"Spirits of the South, spirits of fire, let us feel your power. In the flames of passion, and also when the fire burns low, will you love and honour each other?

The couple - We will

Then may you be blessed by the powers of the South. Together may you dance the road of courage and vitality, may your home be filled with warmth and energy.
