🌟 My reason for doing what I do🌟
At the end of 2017, I lost my dad to cancer. I was 29 at the time & we’ve missed our on so much as a family with him not being here. He won’t be at my wedding when I get married in December, he never got to be a gramps.
Time is definitely a healer but him dying has left a void which will never be filled.
When something so major happens in your life, it makes you re-evaluate pretty much everything in your life & realise what is truly important (I know a lot of people who are doing this right now with everything that’s being happening this year with Coronavirus).
The biggest thing I learnt? Is just how short life is. We all believe that we have years & decades left to do all of the things we want to do, that we should save things for ‘special occasions’ & that only the big life milestones are worth celebrating properly.
But that’s not true! Life is short & so let’s have a damn good time! Let’s have events & parties because we can & we want to! There’s always a reason to celebrate, there’s always a reason to gather your favourite people together & have fun (how many people of been wishing for this very thing for the last few months!)
And this is exactly why I run West Berks Events - to help local business owners to run events to help people celebrate, have fun, learn, have new experiences (whilst making a profit!).
If you’d like my help on how you can run successful (& profitable) events as part of your business, then drop me a DM & let’s get a ‘power hour’ session booked in on Zoom to help you & your business take the next step!
