Jen knew exactly what she was looking for in her dream dress; clean lines, fit and flare with a low or open back. Sharing a love for the modern classic bridal look, I had lots to share with her. Seeing their photographer Morag at The Scottish Wedding Awards last week reminded me that I hadn't posted this happy couple's photos. How lovely to have your photos done by the Scottish Wedding Photographer of the Year, Ceamara Photography 📸

Tamara found three dresses she liked at her first appointment, but it was this elegant Mikado A-line that captured her heart. To complete her bridal look, she added a ribbon-edged 2-tier veil. Tamara, you were every inch, the modern classic bride 😍

I ate mine yesterday 🐸

To be clear, no frogs were harmed, and there are no frogs to be found in these images, only a handsome prince! I love this phrase and use it a lot at home to deal with things that sit on the to-do list for too long and become more unattractive the longer you leave them 🙄

Today's the deadline for Scottish Wedding Awards nominees to submit any supporting information. It always seems like an ordeal, but it's actually a hugely rewarding and motivational exercise. Collating feedback from brides and reviewing how much With This Dress has grown made me feel like a winner no matter what the result is next Wednesday 😀

Huge congratulations to my beautiful bride Joanne and her husband Stuart, who got married last September at the Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel 🎊

Jo came to her first appointment, not expecting to find her dream dress. Her wedding date was 2 years off, so we just had a relaxed browse through my collection, trying lots of different looks. But it happens when you least expect it, a bit like falling in love. Jo knew this incredible satin ball gown was hers from the moment she tried it 😍

When you've bought your dream dress well in advance, you can keep the love strong with follow-up appointments to check sizing and take your time to decide on accessories. We made use of all that time, and boy, did those 2 years fly by 👰‍♂️

I've just spent my afternoon immersed in this happy couple's wedding gallery. It definitely ranks as one of my favourites! There are so many fabulous pictures of their wonderful wedding day 😍

Emma was one of my most relaxed brides and picked this iconic gown relatively easily. As you'll see from the photos, Emma plays the fiddle and could observe lots of brides and their dresses at the weddings she played at. It was lovely when she popped in to try her dress on before her alterations to know that she still felt that hers was absolutely her dream dress 🫶

Huge congratulations to my beautiful bride Laura and her husband Dean, who got married in November at the Carrbridge Hotel 🎊

Laura and I bonded quickly! From the moment she walked in the door accompanied by her sister, I was drawn to them. Everything was so relaxed and easy, I felt like I was dressing my niece 🥰

She looked gorgeous in so many of my dresses, but this tiered tulle ball gown captured Laura's heart. It's fun, fabulous and undeniably romantic, a bit like the lovely Laura herself 😍

Laura hadn't expected to find "the one" so quickly, so was a bit hesitant about saying yes. Five more minutes in her dress, and she was 100% sure. When you know, you know 😏
