Leslie Robertson was recently at the Conference News Global Event Tech Summit where he held a session about adapting to changing delegate needs and leverage technology for sustainable events in a transforming landscape.
Here are some of the thoughts of the audience at the event:
👀 Over 50% of the audience felt that live events will change significantly or decline by 2030 due to evolving delegate needs and sustainability concerns.
🌿 Over 80% of the audience were actively or currently incorporating sustainable practices and technology solutions into their event planing.
👨💻 100% of the audience felt it was important to adapt to the changing preferences of younger delegates who seek reduced travel and more engagement options.
⬆ Over 42% of the audience felt the biggest increase in meeting format from 2023 to 2024 will be In-Person meetings.
