Tues 2/7 Hollinsclough Spunch from the Chapel Tea Rooms, Hollinsclough - Chrome Plated!

Located just south of Buxton, near the renowned Chrome Hill, part of the Dragon's Back, this area is a prime example of a limestone reef knoll. It has even inspired songs by Norwegian artists.

Are you up for conquering the three prominent summits along your path? Chrome Hill at 425 meters, Hollins Hill at 451 meters, and Hollinsclough Moor at 424 meters await. Alternatively, if you prefer a less strenuous climb, there are gentler options available.

After your excursion, you can replenish with vegan soup and a roll for £5.50, and enjoy a selection of tray bakes, teas, coffees, and soft drinks at the Chapel Tearooms, Hollinsclough.

Just sharing this again, sorry. But this is a fabulous part of the Staffs Moorlands. A fabulous walk with John Hall Wellness Garden. There was some super feedback in the festival about the JHWG walk from nearby Longnor.

There's still time to grab a place on this fabulous festival.

It goes without saying that all walks in Staffordshire are fabulous! 😉

🌧️ Well, day five of The National Forest Walking Festival was a wet one! However...

🚶🏿‍♀️ nine all-weather walkers turned up to the incredibly informative evening walk through the ancient Scalpcliffe Woodland, organised by The Friends of Scalpcliffe Woods.

🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏿 These walks are a great way to meet other like minded people and a great introduction to many local organisations and walking groups: several lone walkers joined us last night.

👉🏻 To join us on one of the FREE walks up until the 30th May see here https://orlo.uk/N0Q0w

John Finn, a remarkable artist who is deafblind, will be holding a small exhibition at the Bear Step Gallery in Shrewsbury (upstairs) on the 12th - 18th May.

John's journey with deafness and vision loss has been challenging, yet he has continuously adapted his artistic talents, transitioning from filmmaker to award-winning animator and now a captivating artist.

John's exhibition is a testament to the power of human spirit and the ability of art to connect with everyone, regardless of ability.

Please help share this information with anyone who might be interested in attending.
