After setting up as a travel agent I saw that there was a gap in the market for people who wanted to do low cost adventures (like I do) but still have some guidance and the tools at their finger tips.

This website is to enable you to create your own budget breaks at a few clicks. Not only can you use it to create a holiday and plan an itinerary, but it's jam packed with information which we will add too over time.

There's a dedicated section for those looking to do a Disneyland Paris or Lapland holiday. But it's set up to plan a trip anywhere in the world.

Our new classes start TUESDAY NEXT WEEK on a trial run basis and we kick off with Baby and Toddler 'Bounce' Classes. Think a soft play environment but just for children of a similar age so they can safely explore and improve their gross motor skills. A free play session rather than an instructor led course.

Featuring an incredible 5 soft play sets including 4 ball pools, lots of ride ons, various foam steps and slides and blocks and our toddler sized bouncy castle.

A Christmas special with photo opportunities, a keepsake craft, spa baths with robes and headwraps and some gentle baby massage designed to relax your baby in time for bed🌛

From September Bébé Spa will be expanding!

Our first offerings are our Baby and Toddler 'Bounce' Classes. A fun free play and music session featuring an incredible 5 soft play sets including 4 ball pools, lots of ride ons, various foam steps and slides and blocks and two of our toddler sized bouncy castles.

A chance to have fun in a clean safe space with children of a similar age and to encourage and develop your child's gross motor skills.

Sessions are £6 each or if you add any 4 sessions to the basket you will automatically receive a £4 discount (making 4 sessions £20).

Babies in hot weather

Hot wather can be quite difficult to manage with a young baby. It can change feeding and sleep patterns. Babies often wake more when its hot (adults do too!) and often like to feed more frequently Here are some tips!

Keep the bedroom cool by keeping the curtains drawn and the windows open. Try to get a through draft between rooms.
(For those of you outside the UK, yes its true, we don't often have air conditioning here as its hot for about 2 weeks a year!)

If baby has a bath, keep the water cool.

Keep clothing and bedding light and cotton is best. Layers are good so you can add something in the early hours of the morning if the temperature cools a little.

Use a fan to keep the air circulating, but don't point it directly at the baby.

Avoid direct sunlight, keep babies in the shade as much as you can.

Remember babies will probably need to feed more often in the hot weather to keep themselves hydrated.
Breastfed babies don't need any extra water if they're under 6 months. They will feed little and often and the milk will be more watery to keep them hydrated.
Formula fed babies may need a little water but can also have more milk.
For combination fed babies, try to have set times for formula feeds and then breastfeed responsively in between so baby can stay hydrated, there's no need for water.
All babies over 6 mths can have a little water with solids.

It can get very hot and sticky when feeding and cuddling babies in hot weather. Putting a muslin square between your skin and baby's will help. But believe it or not, skin to skin will actually cool baby down.

What a lovely afternoon we had for our Easter Bébé Spa class today at Rampside Hall. Due to a family bereavement this was our first class this year, I forgot how nice and relaxing it is. 🛀
It was fab to have people returning and coming from Kirkby and Broughton.

Our classes feature an introduction to baby massage to target colic, constipation, reflux, teething and snuffles. We have our Spa baths with special shower heads, a keepsake craft and photo opportunity. You will receive a pdf copy of our own baby massage book to keep and reference back to.

Our Fathers day session is fully booked but we have availability for the following dates:

For fun last week I put together a 35 page baby massage book- I know I lead an exciting life 😁

These feature all the massage strokes we cover in classes. I've also put together some special pages with routines to relieve colic, teething, sniffles and also one to encourage neurological development.
