I’m super excited to be part of this with the lovely Simon Kemp and Tony Peters - Lanternfish Promotions! Forging Rembrandt at The Bear Pit, Stratford upon Avon - 22nd & 23rd September.

In 1936 Dutch artist Han van Meegeren sets out to be revenged on the Expert who has rejected his work. He begins a series of brilliant fakes of old master paintings. The highly successful sales of these fakes, all vetted by the Expert, are interrupted by the outbreak of the Second World War. During the invasion of Holland one picture, a fake Rembrandt, is acquired by Herman Goering. At the end of the war van Meegeren is charged with selling a work of national importance. Facing the death penalty for collaboration, he must forge another old master to prove his story.

The LAND OF OZ will take place in the upstairs room Boston Tea Party Stratford - Upon - Avon on Tuesday 25th July from 10am - 11am. Boston Tea Party can be found at the top of Henley Street, CV37 6QW.

The session is aimed for children and babies from 6 months upwards and will be relaxed, flexible and very inclusive.

Join me for a sensory and interactive retelling of The Wizard of Oz and includes craft and mask making!

The session will cost £7.50 for each child or £6 each child for a booking of 2 or more children. Babies under 6 months are free. Children will need to be supervised so you are more than welcome to join in the fun too!

Boston Tea Party are offering a 10% discount on food and drink purchased when attending the session. So there is something for everyone!

More photos from yesterday’s workshop with Kingsley School. With the Ancient Greek tale of Theseus and the Minotaur meeting the Ancient Chinese legend of the Yu the Great and the first dynasty. The children braved the wind in their forest school as they created and performed their own versions of the stories.

I am absolutely delighted to announce that I will be running 2 storytelling workshops for children and families in the Easter holidays!!!

The 2 workshops will take place on Thursday 6th April in Snitterfield Village Hall.

Each workshop will include an Easter themed interactive story followed by an activity and end with, of course, an Easter egg hunt!! (There will be tea and coffee available for the adults too! 😊).

The age range is just a guide as the sessions will be relaxed so that anyone can join in the fun!

9.45-10.45 (aimed for 0-5 years)
11.15-12.15 (aimed for 6-11 years)

Had such wonderful fun Walking into Wonderland with this amazing bunch! They brought Wonderland to life with a bang!

We fell down the rabbit hole, crawled through the door to Wonderland, had a Caucus Race, played croquet (where of course we let the Queen of Hearts win!) and finished as we fought the Jabberwocky!

All in a days work, of course! 😉

Now taking bookings for school assemblies/workshops and birthday parties for the Summer Term.

Very much looking forward to celebrating World Book Day in schools tomorrow. Hope the children are ready for their Walk into Wonderland!!
