We all need a laugh & all need a ticket to get in, only £15.00 for a blinder of an evening of humour, banter, impressions & giggles, plus an amazing ingredients support comedian too.

Just what the Dr ordered because laughing is amazing medicine.

A comedy night on 22nd January

A serious evening but interesting insight to life in Ulster during the height of the Troubles.

Boxing events throughout the year.

A former special forces operator telling you all.... what they can.

Plus, still to be confirmed, a former boxing champion telling you his tales from inside & outside the ropes.

Might even be more too, but time will tell.

Well I'm very very pleased to secure this opportunity to bring two British characters of the Special Forces (SAS) to West Cumbria). Venue still to be confirmed but it'll be Maryport or very close to Maryport.

Rusty Firmin needs no introduction, he's been here before & with him being from Harraby in Carlisle born & bred, he enjoyed being back up North. Rusty, the lead man of the Iranian Embassy siege, the adviser behind the film 6 days plus so much more.....
With him on the 7th August 2021 is his very good mate Peter McAleese & they go back a long way.

Below is a lil heads up on him....

Peter McAleese was 46 and in between jobs.
The Glasgwegian had served in the SAS before becoming a 'gun for hire' in the Angolan Civil War, the South Africa Border War and an ill-fated attempt to overthrow Colonel Gaddafi in Libya.

His final job involved putting together a team of a dozen men to go to Colombia and kill drugs lord Pablo Escobar – and this was agreed over a round of lagers at a Hereford pub.

Bricktop Events haven't gone away....
We are just like everyone else and treading water until guidelines allow us to bounce back even better than 2020, I mean since 2019..... time flies when the world is in the same situ.

And as always the best bit is that we'll be raising funds for local causes on them all.

Eddie Richardson who has plenty to tell, share & be truthful about. Those who met Uncle Harry who walked with the Krays, when he was in Maryport, can now meet & listen to the boss of the other firm who shared the respect back in the day.

A Blindfolded FUNdraiser bout.

TAG, TELL, SHARE, REPEAT.....

The two ladies who have stepped up to the challenge of a BLINDFOLDED FUNdraiser bout are Gemma Raine & Saskia Mae Lyttleton. These two will be climbing through the ropes and doing 3 x 1 minute rounds while raising money for 'MIND' the mental health charity that provides an amazing service.

This bout will be entertaining & funny and I cant thank these two enough for helping me, us, raise funds.
Sponsor forms are available with each of them & every single penny goes to where it's meant to be. This is the brainwave of Andrew Hardcastle after he approached the club to see if we could help raise funds. So, that's three people to show our appreciation too.

It's only banter, not brawl. Controlled humour to have you all laughing..... anybody who is attending the show at Stanwix, Silloth on Dec 7th wants to buy either or both of these lasses a drink, they both sup Newky Brown Ale.....

On the day we'll have a Northern Area title fight, a heavyweight eliminator & an undercard of lively bouts including a rematch, a debut & some experienced bouts....

BRILLIANT NEWS: I can confirm that Grant Radcliffe will be boxing for silverware (as in a belt) on our show December 7th. A couple of opponents up in the air but when one agrees & accepts the opportunity I'll tell you all.

Because Gary Tierney's challenge for the Commonwealth belt has fell through for reasons beyond our control, he'll now be challenging for the BBU British Heavyweight belt against Scotlands very own tough & durable contender Shaun Stewart. This fight will be over 6 rounds and is guaranteed to be a lively exciting bout to see who wants it the most to go home as HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION of BRITAIN.

These two fights will be headlining a class fightcard involving:

Only two months away, 8 tables reserved already. A boxing event involving a title defence, a title challenge, a rematch x 2, a debut & some novice & experienced fights aswell. And it's taking place at Cumbrias version of Ceasars Palace.... Stanwix Leisure Park, Silloth, in the Sunset.

Some tables still available to be reserved, Ringside & ViP, both include food & waitress service for drinks throughout the event....
