Last week I shared a little bit about myself on Instagram so i thought I would share it on here too!

I'm Katie and I look after the Lincolnshire and East Anglia side of Folly Fairs! I am married and have a year old little boy. We are currently living in Holbeach in Lincolnshire but originally from Surrey! I used to work in a high street jewellers but left to be a stay at home mum. I love everything Disney and enjoy doing a Disney puzzle. I can't wait for things to back to normal so I can fully start by new chapter and get planning events!

We hope everyone is keeping safe!
Over the weekend my family and I planted some sunflower seeds in a plant pot to put in our front garden! Sunflowers always put a smile on my face and I hope that as they grow they will put a smile on many more faces in this difficult and uncertain time.

I’ve been thinking, why not try and get everyone involved! Something to put a smile on everyone’s face, whether it’s a key worker on their way to and from work, a neighbour or people passing by. It could also be in memory of those who have sadly lost their lives!

Sunflowers are very simple to grow, all you need are some seeds, a pot and some soil. Or you can sow them straight into the ground! There are plenty of shops that sell these bits that are still trading online or over the phone!

A couple of days after lockdown me and my little boy planted some sunflower seeds into little mud pods and kept them inside until they got bigger. Today we decided it was time to repot them and put them in the garden. Noah is so proud of them and is so excited to see them grow "bigger and bigger and bigger all the way to the sky!". 💛
