We've always had a soft spot for The Victoria Club, on the mean streets of Holmes Chapel. A near perfect room for comedy and as up for it an audience as you could wish for. Mick Ferry, Scott Bennett Comedian and Faizan Shah were last night's masters of mirth.

Last night was spent laughing it up at Lymm Festival, Cheshire .One of my oldest friends in the game - Martin Mor closed the show superbly, Seeta Wrightson took the middle and Philip Simon - Comedian perfectly tailored his snappy gags and routines to the sold out room! Thanks, as always to Keith Halsall , Alan and his staff and the Lymm Festival Committee.

Back on Friday 29 September with full lineup here in the next few days.

It's nearly ten years since our first gig at Elvington Hall and it's been a firm favourite ever since. Andy Owen runs a tight ship, they don't come much funnier than Justin Moorhouse, Percy Savage and Roger Monkhouse plus the Grey Horse Elvington York is only across the road. What, as they say, is not to like?

Well. What a cracking night that was at The Fourth Fiend Taphouse very first comedy night. Hosted by Comedy In A Van. From the compere Rob Riley through to all the acts Justin Moorhouse, Simon Wozniak Comedy and Faizan Shah the performances were brilliant and the place was filled with the great sound of laughter and people having a good time from start to finish. We hope you had a nice evening Meltham. 🍔🍟💙

Turned out nice in the end.... Having lost our original MC to the gridlock surrounding Download Festival, we quickly summoned up a replacement and another cracking show in Congleton. Your acts were Tony Burgess - Comedian, Chris Washington - Comedian. and Adam Anwar. Special thanks to The Coven, The Couples and The Taffia for being such good sports.

Magnificent gig at Dukinfield last night made even better when people that follow you on social media come along to watch you perform live - great to meet Howard Adshead.
Also great to watch Mick Ferry doing the business on MC duties.
