Spaceship!!!😁

Everything is awesome when you're 4! This large display was all about Lego Space and a bit of Lego Football too 😊

We've got a massive rocket and a little spaceship, Benny the spaceman (from the still-amazing Lego Movie), planets, lego bricks and a lego goalie and goal... phew!

Want to know something else that's awesome? This was the 4th birthday where I've made a display for this young chap... and he's 4... so that's 100% of them! I don't have that kind of hit rate with my own children! 🤣

I'm very lucky to have awesome customers who come back year after year. It really is a privilege to be part of your birthday traditions!

According to motorsport legend, Colin Chapman of Lotus said "simplify, then add lightness". Well hold my pint Colin - they don't come much lighter than this! * 👍

This display was for someone who loved cars so much they even got married at Beaulieu motor museum! It features their beloved Lotus Evora, some traffic lights, and their 3 lovely dogs.

Howdy neigh-bours, it's a horsey birthday display for this 9 year old. Can you spot their pet dog hiding on there too? 😆

Yesterday I was at a fantastic party in Horton for 2 siblings 😃 I took along some little displays to match the birthday cakes - a pastel rainbow unicorn and a big ol' monster truck!

Had a great day around Verwood yesterday!

In the morning I joined The Verwood Hub, Emmanuel & Potterne Park 's summer holiday session, making lots of balloon Pokemon 😊 The kids there also enjoyed lots of soft play and bouncy castle fun!

Then in the afternoon I joined Verwood House Care Home for their summer fete! They had Ems friendly farm visiting with lots of lovely farm animals, which I made out of balloons (of course 😆)... although check out the pics, as I'm not sure Honey the pony is too convinced by hers! It was a great afternoon at a lovely home in a beautiful setting.

Shouldn't be too hard to catch 'em all - this bunch of Pokemon candy cups are weighed down with Haribo!

I think candy cups are a really smart idea for parties...

- They're basically the biggest, most colourful party bag ever
- Often cheaper than hiring me to make balloon animals live at your event
- They look amazing all lined up but they're really useful too, because they're gifts for your guests to take home!

Absolutely delighted to support the St Michaels Church summer party in Verwood today!

It really is amazing when local people and groups work so hard to put on events for local families for free! They had bouncy castles, pizza making... and some dude with balloons 😉

Was v.proud to be joined by my littlest one too!

Happy birthday to this Lego and Harry Potter fan! Can you spot Dumbledore? Ron Wesley? Hagrid and Hedwig?

Does it cost more to have more than 1 theme? Nope. If we're making a display, you can have characters and animals from as many different worlds as you like!

How does it work? I spend the same amount of time building each display - which is why my displays cost the same regardless of theme. I don't want to end up charging you more just because your child likes a particular TV show!

So we might have a display like this one with lots of characters on it. Alternatively, there might be a theme with just 1 key character (e.g. mickey mouse), in which case I'll try to make that character as elaborate as possible and go crazy with the decorations too. So each display is crammed full of details in their own way!

I forgot to get a picture of this bouquet before leaving Pop HQ yesterday, so I thought I'd grab a quick photo in the car park near the event I was going to.

I was ready to party, wearing my favourite shirt covered in very colourful bears. I wandered the car park, holding the bouquet at different angles, trying to find a good spot.

I took the photo and several (awful!) selfies and turned around to see a car full of people wandering what on earth they were witnessing 🤣😂 Now that would have made a fantastic photo! 🤣

I had a lovely time yesterday at the Moors Manor Care Home - Barchester Healthcare summer fete! 😊

There were lots of guests joining the residents for live music, good food and lots of laughs and smiles... and the odd balloon monkey here and there! 😉

What better way to celebrate your 5th birthday than an awesome party and a dinosaur / spiderman / train / alien display!!

That's the cool thing about balloon displays - I can make them with whatever you like, be that going big on 1 theme, or an eclectic mix of all your favourite things!

Neither option costs more - it's just one of the benefits of a bespoke display (and you can't get that off amazon! 😉)

There will be a variety of stalls including our cake stall, raffle and Tombola.

Elections are soooo yesterday! Here's a quick look ahead...

You can find me at Oakhurst Community First & Nursery School in West Moors for their summer fayre this afternoon from 2:30.

Tomorrow I'll be in Highcliffe at the lovely Silverways Nursing Home for their summer fete (details in the pics below). And then it's time for some birthday parties on Sunday!

Next week there are some displays to be made, more parties and entertaining at a wedding reception!

I was making balloons in the sunshine at a lovely staff BBQ yesterday for Corintech and their sister companies.

I still took along a little balloon display - this time with some of their products; a medical freezer, a data logger and a PCB! (They must be a balloon first! 😄)

There's games, all sorts of stalls, bouncy castles, live music, food... And a silly man making balloon animals!

Well hi there! Welcome to all our new page followers👋 It's a good time for a quick recap on what Mr Pop's balloons is all about!

* I make all sorts of balloon animals and characters at birthday parties, fetes, weddings and corporate events!

* Making big bespoke displays for birthdays and anniversaries! Let me know what the special person enjoys and we'll use that as the theme for the display. Check out some pics below.

If your birthday boy or girl has a favourite pet or toy... send me a photo. I'll try my best to get the balloon versions looking just like them!

* I make candy cups - a (recycled and recylable) cup full of sweets with a balloon character of your choice on top!

* Charity - I do 1 event a month for charities and schools, for free. Because balloons are good at making people happy! I'm over-subscribed for charity events this year, but would love to hear your suggestions on great causes to support in 2025 😀

Things I don't do...
- Balloon arches, because there's already lots of people out there who are awesome at them. (And it's all a bit grown up for me, if I'm honest!).
- Helium. I build everything I need out of balloons and air, so have never used helium!
