This Saturday 1st of June we are bringing two Sounds together for a night of Roots, Dub and Steppas. We always aim to bring something different and special to Bristol so, we present:

* Roots Youth Soundsystem *

Coming from London and headed by Vinny Kullar, Roots youth are a soundsystem not only known for their system but the music they release via their label Roots Youth Records. Their catalog is extensive, releasing works with some of the most prestigious names in reggae and Dub like King Jammys, Chazbo, Prince allah & more, go check their bandcamp!.

* Hard Pressed HIFI Soundsystem *

The local Brotherly soundsystem will be back in action for Roots A Run its been a little while but the boxes will be thundering as always.

Come and join us once again for a night full of music and soundsystem rumbling

Truly terrible news about Paul massai yesterday. This is a real blow for our Bristol community.
He inspired us at the beginning of our journey all them years ago. Attending Dub club back then with neverlution upstairs, we attended for Jungle and breakcore but hearing what was going on in the main room (dub club) we soon went and attended for that and it was the thunder weight that got us hooked. Attending those sessions, we gradually got talking to Paul & kai dub they really inspired us to get our sound going. Paul was always there to give opinions and guide us throughout the process although it took us a few years those talks got us where we are today.

The energy of Paul and the chanting on the mic will forever be a fond memory.
