A bunch of happiness right there 🩷🌸 heading off to brighten someone’s day.

So many colours in the field. But one that has absolutely stolen my heart this season is Thalictrum (the tiny dots of purple that look like they are hovering at the back of the bouquet). This is my first year growing it and it is beautiful, with tiny delicate flowers like gypsophilia but in purple hues 💜 I won’t be without it now!

The flowers have been very slow for us this year 😢 we seemed to have encountered so many set backs from deer to slugs to the wet spring and so on and it really shows sometimes there is nothing that can be done against Mother Nature. I don’t think I am alone in this, it just isn’t a great flower year 😭 But it is still managing to produce some beautiful bunches … we just have to be more creative. Hopefully it is onwards and upwards from here 🤞🏻

Lady marmalade roses are beautiful this year and they’re their colour delicate and scent so sweet. Shame they are literally the prickliest rose i have ever seen. Not sure if this is them or just ours 😂🙈

I love to arrange them ready to take home whilst our guests enjoy a cream tea & at this point l always think it’s like being on Ready Steady Cook - do you remember that show? When you are given the ingredients to work with and they are challenged to make the best thing they can 😂

I loved making these colourful Easter bunches to drop off today. Feels amazing to slowly start working back with the flowers again. They do seem to be a little earlier this year, braving the rain and wind 🫣 onwards and upwards 🙌

As Mother’s Day is so early in the season for us, it’s always touch and go whether we have any flowers, but this year we DID 🙌 and I am so proud that they have all be grown by us on our little farm 💪

Today was a whirlwind and I sadly didn’t get any photos of all the bunches together before they were whisked out for delivery 🤦🏼‍♀️ but there we are.

Tulips … I definitely have a love hate relationship with them. They are beautiful 🤩 but everything loves to eat them!!! And despite 4 cats 🐈 the rodents still get to them 🫣. Almost at the end of my tether with the stress of them 😂 those that are left better be worth it!

Anyone else have the same problem 🤔
