D&J Catering are delighted to announce our continued involvement in BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend as the appointed Concessions Management company.
Sefton Park, Liverpool will be host to this year’s event held over the May Spring bank holiday weekend. We are looking for local food traders within Liverpool and surrounding areas and require a variety of High-Volume Outlets, Street food, Barista Coffee, and Artisan units. If your food offering or trading outlet is considered speciality or unique be sure to apply, we are on the hunt for something new and different.

Traders looking to apply must have a food hygiene rating of 4* or above issued by their local authority and be able to source products locally where possible. We require dietary restriction options for Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free and Halal for this prestigious event.

In addition, we are sourcing non-food/market traders to apply for this event, if you are a non-food trader interested in applying for this event, please email [email protected] for more information.

All applications will be considered by the BBC who will handpick all the successful applicants. Emphasis is placed on the aesthetics of the trading outlets and quality of food being served to customers, be sure to include high quality images in your application that portrays your business and trading outlet.

Applications are now open until 10am on Tuesday 18th February 2025, we are unable to accept any applications after this time. Please ensure when registering you go to upcoming events and apply for the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend Event. We anticipate traders to receive an outcome of their application by no later than the 14th March 2025.

We are excited to announce that applications for TRNSMT Festival 11th-13th July 2025 are now open.

The 3 day event is held in the centre of Glasgow near the River Clyde and previous line ups included artists such as Gerry Cinnamon, Liam Gallagher, Teddy Swims, Kasabian, Lewis Capaldi, Aitch and so many more.
