What a wonderful wealth of unique creativity and gorgeous gifts for weddings and naming ceremonies at NORTHWICH ARTISAN MARKET! (2nd Saturday of every month) Northwich Artisan Market 🥰

I treated myself to a few super, special pressies:

- beautiful pendant with a real acorn electroformed in copper from .forest 🍁 - with a magical selection of real leaves in copper too!

- yummy flavoured cheese from 🧀

- delicious dog treats from Basil's Boutique (for Clover the Husky!!) 🐕

- perfectly pink mini macrame hanging from .studio.uk 🌸

- posh pen for my couples to sign their wedding ceremony certificates from 🖋

- stunning top quality cushion to match the bonkers wallpaper in my lounge from - who also has the most gorgeous range of 100% cotton colourful kiddies' sun hats and girls' smock dresses. 🥰🤩

Poems and people...two of my favourite things!

I met Annie at a "Small Businesses" event in Northwich a few weeks ago...and 2 days ago she fulfilled her lifelong dream to open her own second-hand book shop, here in Northwich!

COVER2COVER Cover2Cover Northwich on Witton Street, in Northwich, is a delightful haven for book lovers and more, with a magical children's corner and lots of quirky antiquities dotted around the shop.

I popped in yesterday to say Hi! and offer my support and left with this lovely book "Poems of the Countryside" featuring lots of classics, and a few that are new to me, and beautifully illustrated with wonderful paintings, by Gordon Beningfield.

A year ago today, we said goodbye to our beautiful 'good boy' Shep.🐶

I'm now pleased to be partnering with the lovely Emily - Emily the Pet Loss Doula - who I met a year ago when she was the marvellous manager of Dunham Massey Pet Crematorium.🥰

So kind and compassionate, she understands all about pet bereavement and she can offer so much amazing support with the difficult decisions we have to make when we say goodbye to our beloved pets, who are such wonderful members of our family, showing us so much unconditional love.❤️

This gorgeous venue, on a 45 acre estate, is nestled in the Delamere countryside and has everything with a beautiful ceremony room, in the majestic splendour of the main house, overlooking the stunning gardens, a cosy and rustic Garden Cafe, the elegant Glasshouse, the Orangery and a Gazebo for an outdoors ceremony.🥰💐🌲🌳

Thank you to the lovely couple who loved the perfectly personal and fun ceremony I created and officiated for their Vow Renewal Ceremony last year and thank you to the warm and welcoming wedding team for inviting back to be a part of their wonderful Open Day. 🌸🌳

Celebrating 250 years since the birth of one of our greatest female novelists, JANE AUSTEN. ✒️📚

And to celebrate, I've just joined Northwich Library with access to all its sister libraries, with a visit to Barnton Library to pick up PERSUASION by Jane Austen and then off to Sandiway Library to join their Ancestry Club, as I continue to research my family's story and history in Northwich!

Northwich Library is temporarily situated in Weaver Hall Museum, which used to be the Northwich Workhouse...up until the middle of the 20th Century!!

So much history, so many stories and Jane Austen is still so relevant and relatable today....strong women and falling in love. ❤️

My magical Christmas Tree...which I finally put up today! I love leaving this tradition until the calm of Christmas Eve...and relax! 🎄

This is what being an Independent Celebrant is all about! Combining the different cultures and traditions of my gorgeous couple into one perfectly personal Wedding Ceremony. ❤️👰‍♂️🤵❤️

And, Oh, what an atmosphere...once this beautiful ceremony room was filled with friends and family and filled with love and laughter!

Thank you to Georgia and the team at the beautiful Larkspur Lodge the gorgeous wedding venue in Knutsford, and lovely to work with fabulous wedding photographer, Vanessa Bryson, Vanessa Bryson Photography and her team too!

The best day ever with my gorgeous couple having a BIG BASH to renew their wedding vows after 30 years together. As you can see I always carefully choose my outfit...and how lovely to be matching the curtains!! 🥰🤩🌸🌳

We had a walk-through of the ceremony the day before and we had a giggle as I also helped them decorate the tables for the Afternoon Tea Reception with little bottles of their homemade kir (made with blackberries picked by their grandkids) and also the drink in the Loving Cup to bless their marriage. 🍷

Great fun after the ceremony with Adam - The Cartoon Loon, wowing everyone with his excellent caricatures...love the one he did of me! And sitting with the Bride's super friendly work colleagues, I met the amazingly talented Sian - aka The Foam Witch who made the wedding sign and makes the most brilliant costumes...out of foam! 😁❤️

All you need is LOVE! 💕

So, I've spent most of today, FUNERAL CELEBRANT DAY, prepping for a Vow Renewal Ceremony tomorrow! ❤️

The message for today is all about CELEBRANTS empowering families, when they're preparing a farewell ceremony for their loved one, with choice and creativity! 🥰

A celebrant-led ceremony that reflects the essence of your loved one, that can make you laugh and cry and celebrate their life, their values, their quirky habits and silly sayings, can all help to comfort you and your family. 🎶✒️🌸🌳

There is such a thing as a "good funeral"!! 🌌

The one certainty in life...is death.
The great unknown in life...is grief.

Navigating grief, after the death of a loved one, is so unpredictable and unique to everyone. One thing I have learnt from being a Funeral Celebrant for over 3 years, and connecting with so many families, is that GRIEF IS LOVE! ❤️

It's difficult for people to explain how they're feeling when they're grieving, so I hope my poem helps in some small way.

Loving life with Clover the Husky and missing Sheppie Doodle, I found this perfect poem to make you smile on a Monday!

They have both taught me how to live in the moment and to just be me! Our perfect pooches love us unconditionally and bring us so much joy.

I love it when couples and families include their dogs in their ceremonies.

Just 7 WEEKS to go to a fabulous big bash for a VOW RENEWAL CEREMONY for my lovely couple, who live just round the corner from me in Northwich. Super celebrations for their 30th year of marriage! 👰‍♂️🤵❤️

We went for a look around their gorgeous venue at ABBEYWOOD ESTATE (), in Delamere, with it's cosy ceremony room and stunning gardens. There is such a warm and welcoming feeling about this place...and with the lovely people who work there too. 🥰🌳⚘️🌺
