We're delighted to invite you to visit our cutting field throughout August and September to enjoy a share in the bounty of blooms.
Tour our growing site, fill a bucket or jam jar with your favourite flowers and enjoy an hour or two immersed in nature. Perfect for flower lovers, or if you're having a party and fancing DIY'ing a few arrangements, come along and pick away!
This is a lovely weekend activity and a gorgeous excuse to get the whole family outside!

A gorgeous pastel spring wedding last week for the beautiful Eleanor 🌿🌷🌸🫶🌼✨

I think this was a sneaky shot caught by at the wonderful bulb to bouquet workshop held by and in April last year (which they are running again this year.) 🌷 The spring blooms that we used were utterly divine ✨🫶

I challenged myself not to go for a bright and vibrant palette like I’m usually drawn to but instead choose ingredients which were slightly softer and muted. I’m always a sucker for apricot tones so I ran with that and mixed in some frilly blush pinks and creamy whites 🤍

I love how light and airy this bouquet was ✨I learnt the importance of space within a bouquet. Getting the right balance of a bouquet being full and sumptuous whilst also still delicate and floaty 🌿

There was a quote by a famous florist, who talked about the importance of arranging flowers with space between them for the butterflies to fly within like they would in the wild. It always resonates with me if instances like this 🦋

If anyone knows the quote or florist I’m talking about I’d be so grateful if you let me know, I’m wracking my brain and I just can’t remember! 💭

Papaver Nudicaule (‘Iceland Poppy’) from Italy✨

One of my favourite flowers 🤍

The bright corals, soft apricots, orangey reds and delicate porcelains are such joyful combination of colours 🍊 🍋 🍑

I also love the squiggled stems. The way the undulate and curve randomly is so satisfying 🫶

One of my absolute favourite ingredients.

You can never go wrong with oodles of blossom. Some big branches of the lovely stuff really elevated these Urns.

Just think of all the Tulips, Anemones, Ranunculus, Hellebores and armfuls of Blossom.

We have teamed up with to share all our collaborative knowledge 🌱

📍 Aubourn Hall and Gardens
🕰️ Saturday 16th March

We’ll delve into the art of seed sowing where you’ll each receive a handy booklet packed with tips and tricks to take home, then be prepared to get your own hands dirty.

This is where we kickstart your own cut flower collection!

Based on feedback from our wonderful customers, we’ll also address the common challenge of timing tasks throughout the year. The question we get asked the most is, ‘what should I do when??’

After a delicious lunch we’ll move onto the second part of the day where a member of the Aubourn Hall and Gardens team will lead a practical talk on soil health, rose pruning, and how to identify pests and diseases with plenty of time for questions.

Get ready for a fun and informative workshop that will leave you inspired and ready to transform your garden!

Swooning over ribbons after the ceremony 🎀

I was there scooping up all the flowers from the church to whizz them over to the reception.

I always offer this service as an option as it really allows you to make the most of your budget. Repurposing your flowers means they are seen from the very start of the day, all the way to the end.

If this is an Important factor for you, I will guide you and advice on what arrangements and installations are best for this 🫶

I nip off and find the nearest coffee shop to refuel whilst you tie the knot and magical reappear ✨ ☕️
