👀Look out for👀…………… Narcissi pseudonarcissi aka wild daffodils or the Lent Lily - this is the original, our native daffodil.
Prior to the C19th these delicate flowers were growing in abundance in our woodlands & were often picked to sell at markets, but due to habitat loss they are much harder to find these days. They are much smaller & paler than our hybrids that we are used to seeing.
Narcissi comes from the Greek myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection- fell into the river whilst admiring himself & of course died (whoops). The arching head of the daffodil is ment to represent Narcissus gazing at himself. 😍🪞😍🪞. ✨Please DONT pick them if you see them, they are in decline so just let your eyes enjoy✨

🍂🪵🌸Deadstuff🌸🪵🍂.
I had the pleasure of working/playing around with 6 twiggy deadstuff jam jar posies for a baby shower at the weekend.
It’s so enjoyable to show off pretty bits of Lichen covered branches, lace like Hydrangea heads, & the skeletal structures of cow parsley- it’s a whole other world.
I used all sorts of treasures from my deadstuff collection, all arranged in small jam jar terrariums filled with moss, river pebbles & the occasional mushroom 🍄..
For more deadstuff delights, just drop me a DM .

I used Eucalyptus, straw flowers, Gyp, feverfew, Cornus stems, Bracken, Nigella pods, Achillea, hydrangea flowers, Honesty, grasses & lavender.
🌸.
Made to order.
Just DM me, for a chat 🍂
