Jules, our Master of Leather Craftsman, has over 30years of creative training in a huge variety of crafts and material manipulation, including a BA(Hons) in fine art sculpture, and is also a BEd. Specialising in leather was the best decision she ever made (her words!) and we now not only provide quality items for film, tv and theatre, but also have an inspiring working relationship with Reedpop ev

ents and are established in teaching the art of leather craft to other professional creatives in the entertainment industry as well as the education sector. Cosplay is what we built our reputation around, because Cosmic Workshop folks are all a part of this amazing community! We love to help others feel as fantastic as we do in their costumes, and feel honoured that so many include our work in their builds.

Late to the 2025 Party! But we are alive and well again, and plotting the next 12 months of leathery shenanigans!

This month is finishing off a couple of orders that were impacted by everyone being so poorly over the festive break and trying to get the website in some form of working order again.

We are hampered slightly by the current -5 degree weather, but doing what we can, when we can!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having an excellent start to the year, Stay tuned for more, and remember, if it seems like a long journey, every tiny step forward, is less distance to travel.

I've been so busy creating costumes and cosplays for the joy of other folks, that I've neglected my own for too damn long!

Nine years ago I threw together my leather armour version of Prince Nuada from Hellboy II - the golden army.
Seven years since I forgot ital parts of my costume (Comic belt rather than film belt) and still made me feel amazing in my (ongoing) Hellboy!

Nuada has become a bit more decorative over the years, you see it at MCM London each year in case you were wondering why it looks familiar! But the vibes are still there.

I intend to get some cool photos next year, then get someone to photoshop my Hellboy in, maybe a mid fight scene!
What do you think? Good idea or just put to bed and concentrate on new stuff?

BEHOLD! KRATOS RAGNAROK!

To recap...
Derrek asked me to make Kratos's costume from the game, God of War - Ragnarok.

The inspiration for this piece was from the Art of God of War Ragnarok, which shows their own designers' absolutly gorgeous progression of costume decisions.

I asked for a high level of artistic license so that I could really go to town on bringing elements of his journey and character growth into the detailing and design, with a smattering of references to the actual mythological Kratos and a very small easter egg to another, totally different game, that features costumes from GoW!

I think I literally carved a portion of my soul into this commission, and I've never been prouder of myself!

Our Story

We absolutely LOVE seeing cosplayers faces when they put their final costumes on at events and feel like they could take on the world and win :) You make us so happy to be doing what we do for a living!

We ADORE cosplay! Cosplay cares not for your skin colour or gender, you disabilities nor for your insecurities and belittling thoughts...cosplay is there to make you feel amazing, to embody those traits from characters your aspire to be, who inspire you to be more confident, outgoing and glorious, even if that feeling only lasts through that one weekend.

Creating leather armour and accessories that help our cosplayers look like they just stepped off a film or tv set is 100% why we do what we do, because sometimes it is that small upgrade, or that little touch of detail that pulls together your outfit into another level of confidence boost!

We do it for the happiness it brings to our customers, for the powerful feeling of being admired and looked up to by others (and those kids!...those kids who melt your heart every damn time they see you and want a photo!) and we love you all so much for wearing our stuff!
