Tickets are on sale in your classes and on Monday evenings.
Dressing up for Halloween is not compulsory, but we do like to see your costumes and creative make-up ๐๐น๐๐ฝ
However, some of your teachers can scare you without dressing up!!!

WE ARE CLOSING DOWN
We just wanted to let you know that Dance Scene & Foot Steps will be closing down next week. Our last day of trading will be Thursday 14th September, weโll close at 5.00pm. We have run our stock levels down but a lot of whatโs left will be sold off at a discounted price.
Weโve been open for nearly 33 years and have decided that the time is now right for us to retire and look forward to spending more time with our children and grandchildren, before we get too old!
We are sad to be saying goodbye and have very fond memories of meeting some wonderful and loyal customers. We've seen children grow into adults and have had the pleasure to go on to serve their children!
Thank you for your loyalty and support over the years, it really has been our pleasure!

CONGRATULATIONS to all our dancers who took their IDTA ballroom and latin exams with us yesterday. We had some fabulous results:
100% of our candidates taking graded exams achieved marks of 85% or higher and an AMAZING 63% achieved Honours which is a mark of 90% or higher. We are very proud of you all. You can relax and enjoy your dancing now....until we mention exams again๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
All the hard work has been put in, I'm proud of you all for your commitment, you can do no more than your best. It could be stormy outside on Sunday, but it will be calm on the dance floor! Good luck to all our exam candidates this weekend ๐
Let's hope the sun continues to shine next week for half term! All classes and our Monday social evening will be closed. With exams just around the corner, we are providing a few private lessons on Sunday and Thursday. A few pictures from our Easter Dance last night. A great time was enjoyed by all. The spirit of our competition brought out the teamwork, creating & exhibiting your fabulous Easter bonnets, made with the few items supplied to your tables. There was plenty of laughter throughout! Congratulations to our worthy winner, Rachel from our Thursday beginner class ๐๐
Thank you to James (my technician) for helping to make the evening successful and to Brian, Barbara and Laura for your help with door duty, judging Easter bonnets, selling raffle tickets and photography. Very much appreciated ๐
Easter is less than 3 weeks away. Our Easter Dance is MONDAY 10th APRIL at ROWHEATH PAVILION 7:30pm - 10:00pm. ยฃ5 per person. Our friendly penguin has been working overtime to clear the roads to Weoley Hall, we will be OPEN as usual this evening, provided we don't have any more snow to change the current road situation. Hope to see our Thursday classes later ๐
2 great classes this evening. You all worked very hard, well done to you all. We waltzed and foxtrotted with our keen Improvers with a bit of work on technique in Cha Cha Cha. We waltzed and quickstepped with our brilliant beginners and slowed things down with a bit of rumba. You are all fabulous...KEEEEP DANCING!
Interestingly, I read today that cocoa flavanoids, the active compound in dark chocolate, can improve blood flow to the brain and can boost brain function. That coupled with plenty of dancing which has been proven to assist our memory, means I should have an excellent brain!!! Bring on the dark chocolate, I say ๐ ๐คฃ
Easter is approaching and we have an Easter Dance planned for Monday 10th April at Rowheath. Watch this space for more details.
