Lisa Dunnachie vs Beth Patterson

Lisa didn't hold back in her first ever boxing match staying on the front foot from the opening bell landing a few heavy shots that caught Beth's attention, but the more experienced fighter displayed a calmness and began to find her range and timing

Lisa was rocked towards the end of round 1 with a big shot to the tempo that saw her on wobbly legs. Lisa did well to stay on her feet and make it to the bell signaling the end of round 1.

Unfortunately for Lisa, she struggled to recover and Beth took full advantage landing a few more precise shots which was enough for the referee to wave the fight off resulting in a 2nd round stoppage win for Beth

Gerry Sharp opened the show on Saturday with a toe to toe back and forth fight, Gerry was straight on the front foot from the first bell! His opponent travelled from Newcastle and put up a great fight for the crowd to watch. Gerry's come forward aggressive style favoured the judges & he was announced the winner after 3 hard fought rounds 🥇🙌!

Contender 9 shaped up to be our shortest fight card to date with only 7 fights due to a good few last minute pull outs, the 7 fights really didn't disappoint tho! Action packed from start to finish, we had 4 knockouts within the first 5 fights 🤯🥊
