7th we have age group 25 to 40 and 8th we have 35 to 50.

We'll be launching 45 to 60 and 55+ soon as well as events for those in the LGBTQ+ community!

Happy New Year! 🍾🎉

After nearly 2 years in the planning due to Covid putting on hold our original launch plans, we are finally ready to launch MatchBox! 💙💜

MatchBox brings together potential new partners or companions based on the items you bring with you & place inside your allocated box 📦

Items will represent aspects of your life, such as your job 👮‍♂️💇‍♀️👨‍🍳, hobbies 💃🏊🤹‍♂️ and interests 🗺🎭🎮, but cannot reveal anything relating to your physical appearance 🧔👩‍🦰👵👴👦🏿👩🏿‍🦳

Each event will have a maximum of 50 participants in 2 groups split into the relevant age/gender/orientation category and take part in 3 rounds.

During each round, you'll have the opportunity to look through boxes belonging to other participants in the opposing group and decide which boxes interest you most, making notes or scoring them on a card ✍💯

You'll be given a number of strikes 🔥 throughout the event, to indicate which boxes interest you - you could use them all in the first round, or spread them over 3 rounds. But once each round is over, you'll not be able to use a strike on a box from a previous round.

After each round, your hosts will take your card and look for the strongest matches with participants from the other group 💜💙

If a match is struck, you'll be able to meet your match for 60 seconds ⏳ face-to-face, each with a box in front of you. You will both have 30 seconds each to tell the other more about yourself. Once this minute has passed, you’ll then be able to ask each other one burning question❔

10 seconds⌛will then count down giving you the chance to place a “match” or “miss” card into the box in front of you without your match being aware of your selection.

If you both place the “match” card into your box, you’ll be given a 10 minute date after the rounds are completed to get to know each other better 💙🥂💜
