Working for our friends at Denham Technical Services Limited, we were tasked with the installation of a stage that fits exactly within a 5x4m footprint for the Launch of a new Subway Sandwich! .

RASE didn't have a stage of that size in it's stock, so... we rose to the challenge and made one! A few long days and even longer nights in the warehouse resulted in this neat little 5x4m Structure which is perfect for a small band & DJ.

Installation took place very early in the morning at Kingscross Station in London. And the de rig took place exactly 24 hours later at 0100 the following morning.

We'll think you'll agree, it's a smart little roof! This 5x4m stage is now available to hire at a competitive rate.

The Leeds Castle Fireworks Spectacular is a highlight in the RASE calender, and this year didn't disappoint!

With support from our friends TW AUDiO and AE Technical Production RASE filled the air with crisp clear music to accompany the superb lighting and fireworks show.

The PA System is an intricate design of fibre optic networks, wireless audio links and copper redundancy to ensure uninterrupted audio for all the attendees.

2023 saw one of the smoothest deployments yet, with a system control even more refined then previous years.

So, July just happened! And what a busy July it was too!

Arguably one of the busiest months of our season, and filled with challenges from start to finish, the team have worked incredibly hard to deliver events across multiple counties.

Below are some snaps from various festivals We've supplied staging, technical, power... Or all 3 at once!

The staging team have just finished the build for We Out Here Festival where RASE have supplied two full artic loads of litedeck and metric decking to cover risers and stage platforms across the site... Over 15 stages in total!

Also below is a photo of our 10x8 self climbing stage being built on a Layher Substructure for the first time! As if that's not a big enough challenge, It also happens to be built on one of the steepest gradients we've ever had to build a stage on. Challenge completed, bring on the next one!

On the topic of Layher, we had the pleasure of supporting our friends at ORP Sound & Lighting Hire by supplying Layher PA Towers for the bigtop venues at 51st Festival , along with a dry hire of various staging components.

It hasn't been In the warehouse for 5 minutes but some of our brand new Athletic Group Aludeck Metric staging is already on its way to an event.

We've added 150 sheets of 2x1 metric decking to stock. The Aludeck is a great product in that not only does it work as a stand alone stage system with normal scaffold legs. But it also integrates into our Layher scaffolding system by the use of a specially designed Layher transom.

In addition to the 82 Layher transoms now in stock, we've added a range of steps to suit different height platforms, along with handrails to provide a swish staging solution!

Here's a couple of snaps from the Classic Ibiza event with the fantastic Urban Soul Orchestra and the 80s evening with headline acts Tony Hadley and Go West. What a night!

The PA system consisted of the stunning TW AUDiO Vera 36 line array system hung over the incredibly punchy S33 cardiod subwoofers. The subs were arrayed, allowing the sub energy to be steered to the areas it was needed most.

Lighting consisted of a range of fixtures, including the ROBE lighting Pointe, Martin ERA300s and Prolights IP rated COB pars. The lighting rig was controlled by an Avolites Tiger Touch II.

It's a busy weekend, our 12x10 eurotruss roof is up in Nottingham for a Sausage & Cider festival and Ibiza Orchestra event. Here's a snap towards the end of the build.

We're also in Mote Park Maidstone for two weekends of events supplying Audio, Lighting and Site power. Today it's Glitter Bomb! Here's a snap from Monitor world.

And with that... We have officially started moving into our new home!

With over 10,000 square foot of floor space, our new home in Ashford not only provides us with a bit of growing space, but it also puts us in a strong logistical position with easy access to major motorways and surrounding towns & cities.

To say we're excited is an understatement. There is plenty of work still to do and some late nights ahead but we hope to be operating full-time out of the new store in Ashford in the coming weeks.

As we migrate equipment to our new warehouse, our original branches in Canterbury and Tonbridge will eventually be closed. The end goal is increasing efficiency in preparing jobs and improving the management of stock.

We'll keep you posted as to the progress of this exciting step for our business.

We had the opportunity to provide Canterbury Cathedral with our 5m rear projection screen and 10k laser projector for the Kings Coronation.

Set-up on the morning of the event, it was an early start for our technicians. A successful installation relied on careful planning and a pre-event site visit to learn how & where to tie into the Cathedrals PA system.

Thankfully the installation went smoothly and the BBC pictures began streaming seamlessly from 10am onwards.
A unique moment in history that we're proud to have played our part in.

It's certainly been the week for Corporate events. On Tuesday & Wednesday we were at Discovery Park in Sandwich, taking care of a Key Note speech for Pfizer with Audio and Video support. Including a multi camera mix sent to other Pfizer sites.
Today we're at London Biggin Hill Airport providing Audio, Video, Lighting and drape.
Tomorrow we're off to London for another Sporting Event!

On Friday we donated our services to an event raising money for the efforts in Ukraine, hosted at The Westgate Hall, Canterbury

Funds raised go to the Mistro Dobra organisation that was set-up at the start of the war. Misto Dobra's mission is to house Women, Children, families and their pets. This selfless organisation provides food, shelter and medical treatment to those that need it most.
Their aim, especially where the children are concerned, is to make life a little less traumatic for those looking for refuge from the war.

Amongst the various hires and ongoing projects we're also involved in an exciting event at at Harrow School in London today. We're taking care of the audio mix over the next few days for all the broadcasts feeds that are currently covering a practice NFL match.

And with that, our festival season is finished! All that's left is to pull the various jobs out!

Oktoberfest Maidstone was another huge success, and we even helped to deliver a last minute Oktoberfest in Canterbury too!

Time to regroup, test, service & repair all the equipment ready to do it all again next year. A huge thanks to all of the crew that have helped us deliver this season of events.

Well.... It's been quite a season. So much so that we've had little time to keep you all updated.
Since our last post we've had the honour of looking after artists such as UB40, The Dualers, Aswad, General Levy and Katherine Jenkins to name but a few. We've assisted in delivering multiple shows to tens of thousands of people, including the fantastic Classic Ibiza
Our stages have been up and down the country, include Cholomondeley Castle for Outlook Festival , North London for 51st Festival & Titan Festival and decking to We Out Here Festival

September doesn't look like it's easing up either, with our final festival set to finish in October! Here's just a small selection of snaps from jobs thus far..... More updates to follow!

Last week the RASE team, working for our friends at ORP Sound & Lighting Hire provided multiple stages & rigging for Dream Valley

The entire job was confirmed, prepared and delivered to site in just 3 days. Four articulated lorry loads of staging & rigging (plus a couple of vans)!

We were at Connected Festival 2022 supplying the staging & rigging for all the stages! We're also taking care of the lighting in one of the arenas. We've been working alongside ORP Hire and RSH Audio who are supplying lighting and audio across the rest of the arenas.

A busy weekend of events saw us at various venues across Kent.
Trussing, staging and up-lighters installed into Detling Show Ground for ORP Hire
Lighting, PA and drape went into The Westgate Hall, Canterbury for Burgess Hodgson 's staff awards evening.
We were also at The Hop Farm Family Park providing a 100v line PA system and stage platform for a cross country race.
Ontop of all this, we even had PA dry hires in London for a Jewish festival. We certainly made the most of the weekend!

That just about wraps us up for this year! And what an interesting year it's been! We're proud to finish off by supplying lighting equipment to The Marlowe Theatre for their run of Jack And The Beanstalk, lighting & staging to Ashford Pantomime for their run of Dick Whittington and we're running audio at the Leas Cliff Hall Folkestone for Cinderella!
We'd like to extend a warm thank you to our customers for putting their trust in us to deliver their events, and a special thank you to all the crew, both regular and new, who have helped us through!
Our offices are now closed until January the 4th, on going hires will continue to have support as required. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a spectacular new year!

Tis the season for a Christmas corporate party! Miles and miles of pea lights installed onto a pipe & drape structure, complete with a custom timber tunnel to mask the doors (all made on site). The RASE team had the pleasure of working alongside The Pro Group to provide this unique entrance into the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms for a private event.

Another Christmas lights switch on. This time we're in the lovely Tonbridge, Kent high street. An afternoon of entertainment has been organised, followed by the main event! The weather certainly helps with that Christmas feeling. A chilly evening means mulled wine by the fire is definitely in order!

We've been at the Leas Cliff Hall Folkestone supplying PA and monitors for Billy Bragg
A combination of G*E Waveline and G*E PT provided even coverage across the shallow but wide venue. Covering both the circle and stalls. The system was driven by Powersofts fantastic X4 amplifiers that were setup and monitored via Armonia software.

With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to switch on the Christmas lights! We're in Gravesend, Kent this evening supply staging, audio and lighting. We've squeezed a Eurotruss 6x4 arc onto a pre existing podium, adorned it with lights and made sure everyone can hear the Christmas tunes. There's quite a lot happening over the Christmas season so keep your eyes peeled for more!

Pop! Just like that, Leeds Castle, Kent fireworks spectacular is done for another year! The RASE team had the greatest pleasure in supplying audio to cover the 9,000 people per day that enjoyed the show.
Twelve TW AUDiO S33 subs in an end fire configuration and sixteen Vera 36 array elements set-up on the castle covered the bulk of the audience area. 6 delays systems reinforced the main array to ensure even coverage across the entire site.
The system was run by an ALLEN & HEATH DLive and driven by Powersoft x4 amplifiers, linked via a fibre optic network and twinned with a Neutrik Xirum system that provided the backup audio stream.

84 sheets of 8x4 litedeck loaded (by hand), into a private residence ahead of a special function! The platform creates a level surface upon which a marquee will be built to house the guests. Due to the gradient of the lawn, the front edge of the platform starts at 0.5 meters and the back rises to an above head height finish of 1.96 meters!
