Thursday’s wedding on the Scottish side of The Union Chain Bridge was wonderful!

Stuart and Sarah made their vows with Stuart’s children Jarrupp and Hanna as Best Man and Bridesmaid .

We had a four way handfasting to join the family. Huge thanks to Bill and Helen for permission to have this joyous ceremony in front of their fishing bowl on the banks of the Tweed!

These beautiful humans!

I had the absolute honour of marrying Alex and Connor at the fabulous in Lockerbie. Such a lovely pair, so much in love and we were so lucky that this was the first outdoor wedding of the year.

is a stunning venue, the staff amazing and we had alpacas as ring bearers. Sometimes I have to pinch myself.

The lovely was the photographer, what a gent, and I can’t wait to see the official photos.

Second wedding in a week at the glorious

Houpetoun House!

What a magical setting for the wedding of Rachel and David on Saturday.

I haven’t seen such glamorous guests in a long time. I did warn them that wouldn’t last long once the drinks had appeared.

Rachel took my breath away when she walked down the aisle and I think David had a wee gasp too.

Thank you to Nicola for keeping me straight, to the fabulous piper to photographer and to the wonderful who played beautifully and really set the tone for this sophisticated, stunning wedding.

These two bams got married at the top of the Pentland Hills.

Took me an hour to hike up there and I was ready to beat them to death with my walking stick but they are so cute.

Congratulations Tilly and Cal, sweethearts since they were fourteen and married on the tenth anniversary of Cal kissing Tilly under a waterfall. Ya sooks.

Lots of tears and hugs and my step count went through the roof.

It’s a few weeks since I married these glorious humans, George and Renan at the wonderful Neidpath Castle, which looks like it’s been ripped straight from an episode of Outlander.

George had flown Renan’s family in from Brazil 🇧🇷 as a surprise - that’s true love for you.

A wonderful day. There were some happy tears as they exchanged their personal vows (in Portuguese, so I can’t tell you why they were crying). Such a beautiful pair of chaps.

A week later I had a fabulous hamper delivered from them. Immediately drank the wine and ate a whole packet of cheese biscuits ( logged that on MFP as skinless chicken and asparagus, as you do).

Thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful day, and thanks too to for being generally wonderful, to for looking after me, and to for not minding when I was getting in the way and almost going home with his microphone.

Shockingly behind with social media, but here’s a picture of that beautiful elopement Steph and Chris did, captured by the wonderful , such fabulous people to work with who planned the whole perfect day for this sweet couple.

Ok, it was a bit boggy and I was wearing my daughter’s 15 year old wellies (who knew rubber rots?) and half way through the ceremony these two big lads turned up, looking like extras from The Banshees of Inisherin and started lobbing big rocks into the steam nearby but it was fun and special and we all loved every minute of it.

Yesterday’s wedding at the Boathouse at was just magical. Colin cried when he saw his beautiful bride and nearly set me off too.

It’s such a beautiful space, so intimate and perfect for a small wedding.

They wrote their own vows and shared them over an Oathing Stone, which they kissed and threw into the Tweed - not a dry eye in the house 🥰

Self-confessed Love Island addicts, we declared them the Mollie May and Tommy of Duns. Colin asked Hannah out FOUR times before she said yes, but then he’s used to disappointment, he’s a Hibs fan.

Mr & Mrs Renton, you were a joy to work with, and it’s the first time I’ve had diluting juice as the drink from the Quaich 😂
