Good morning! I hope that everyone is OK after the storm. We would like to introduce our NEW Chickpea, Squash and Spinach Pie!! We've added pumpkin seeds and a beautifully rich creamy sauce. Due to storm Eunice, it will be unsafe to travel today. Therefore we will not be making our Friday night deliveries via Crawley Eats and Deliveroo. We will be back open tomorrow. Please stay safe and keep your pets safe too! Bring any animals inside today and give cats a litter tray instead. They may become trapped with fallen trees and fences otherwise.

Making some fresh Creamy Garlic Chic'n & Leek Pies after selling out yesterday!! I thought I would show you the filling and our process. We start by cooking the leeks in our secret creamy mix, infusing the cream with all the flavours. We pan fry the Chic'n protein with fresh Caramelised garlic until golden then we add the pieces to the creamy leeks and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously. This makes the most velvety sauce and the chic'n chunks taste incredible! This pie was inspired by an amazing recipe for creamy leeks given to me by a good friend Ali. She makes great food. I've been a bit quiet on socials this last two weeks! Firstly, I was quite unwell. Just a cold, 🤧 but it wiped me out! Thankfully I'm much better now and I've been back in the kitchen since last weekend. I've just had no extra energy for SM. Secondly, I've been working on something behind the scenes!! I can't reveal it just yet, but I really hope I can announce soon, let's just say, your lunch times may be a little brighter soon!! 🤫🤫 I've said too much!! 😉

I also want to let you know that this Saturday I will be at the Horsham Vegan Market!! We will have some tasters of our takeaway menu available for to try, we will also have some things for you to buy and take home to cook!

We will have samples of our Pholories with our homemade tropical dips, we will have some of our V.F.C Crispy mix available to buy and take home and lastly we will have our vegetable burger pattis available to buy.

Our vegetable burger pattis can be used in a number of ways. They can be cooked as they are and placed in a burger bun with salad and topped with our tropical sauces (that's how we serve them on our menu) or, you can roll them up into balls, cook and have them in wraps or in salads! You can also mash them up and fry them mixed in with homemade tofu scramble!! The opportunities are endless with our flavour packed pattis!

Come down to Horsham Vegan Market on Saturday and try for yourself! We look forward to seeing you there! 🥰

Lastly, we will be closed on Saturday evening this weekend. We will be open on Friday Evening. ✌🌿

INCOMING!! Tomorrow we launch our brand new Caribbean inspired dishes with creamy sauces and plenty of fresh whole foods, lovingly cooked from scratch in our kitchen here at THH-HQ! (The Hearty Herbivore Head-quarters for those at the back!) We have spent time testing out these recipes and we feel they make the perfect addition to our already indulgent menu! We love whole food, plant based recipes and these are Gluten Free as an added bonus! We make these fresh so once they are sold out that's it until the following week!
