🌸🌸🌸On the flower farm this week 🌸🌸🌸

With the arrival of some real heat the dahlias and other heat lovers have started to arrive! Not in huge quantity yet but hopefully with some continued warmer weather there will be lots more.

It’s been a busy week of wholesale flowers, and the first of the teacher bouquets. A busy few days ahead with another 22 bouquets heading out in the next few days, hence no honesty stand this weekend! Hopefully I’ll have enough flowers in the next few weeks to open up again.

🌸🌸Bouquet orders available from 1st July. I am currently on holiday.

I am offering delivery on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during July and some of August for a £5 charge - for bouquets £25 and above to the following areas - Backwell, Nailsea, Flax Bourton Cleeve, most of Winford, Felton. For areas further afield please contact me!

End of school term is fast approaching - it was one of my busiest times last year, so please order in plenty of time, I can accept orders now.

A post this evening instead of a reel! A post in appreciation of British roses! This is Chandos beauty and what a beauty she is! Just perfect! Also in this bouquet queen of Sweden roses, alchemilla mollis, Orlaya, pittosporum, foxgloves, peonies, apple mint, nigella, cornflowers, astrantia, cerinthe, pennycress and sorrel - who needs imported blooms when there are so may beautiful British blooms!!

On the flower farm this week, lots of weeding, rabbit proof fencing installed as I’ve lost a lot of plants to baby bunnies this year - no larkspur for 2024, all eaten 🥲!

Prepping for a wedding and making a brides bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 buttonholes and 8 vase arrangements

While it’s super hot I would get your flowers to a cool place for the day while it’s so hot, out of direct sunlight for the best vase life. Also remember squeaky clean vase and lots of cold water, change water every couple of days and trim stem ends for the best vase life.
