Now we've finished the busy season it's time for market research into day trip recommendations...... holiday. The sun even came out, briefly!
Staying in Sandsend and a walk into Whitby, I can't cope with the crowds now, as Sheriff is so peaceful. So Sandsend is perfect and it's a swift turnaround past the oxymoron named "fun city" and back along the beach.

There have been stories from the previous guests that a woman in white roams the castle grounds. When we first moved here the TV channel was turned over numerous times, while we were watching and once it was turned on in the middle of the night. It's not happened for a long time and the same TV....... Anyone experience any ghostly happenings when they stayed here??
