A cultural trip into York this weekend, Monet in York. If you're not a great fan of impressionism don't let it put you off as there's only one piece of his Artworks on show! However it is very reasonably priced, informative on who influenced him and who he influenced and a peaceful oasis in a beautiful building away from the crowds of York.
On show an eclectic mix: The Water Lily Pond by Monet, a giant sculpture of a wolf hound, Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol, Clifford tower by Lowry, Ouse Bridge, York by Leticia Marion Hamilton to name a few. There's also a very picturesque spot overlooking the gardens to sit at the bar, just saying...

Flip flop massacre: We have CCTV footage of the prime suspect, she is armed with needle sharp teeth and disarmingly cute looks, although not thought to be dangerous.

Quick trip to the North Yorkshire moors railway (1 hour away), what views and even bumped into Richard Hammond.
