Whilst our aptly named Great Barn often steals the show with its majestic scale and beauty, our hidden gem, the West Barn, is a versatile space that definitely deserves its moment in the spotlight!

This gorgeous second barn is a wonderful space, often used as a chill-out zone or a kid's space during celebrations, and it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed Friday night supper or Sunday brunch to make the most of every second of your long wedding weekend.

These photos show the space set up ready for a delicious Friday night feast for the couple and their close friends and family.

For couples who choose to hold both their ceremony and reception in the Great Barn, the West Barn becomes a perfect drinks reception space while our team transforms the main barn for the wedding feast and an evening of dancing.

Although smaller, the West Barn is just as stunning and beautifully functional—it's aother truly special part of venue.

What better way to brighten up what has been a rather wet and dreary week than a throwback to a beautiful summer celebration?!

Sam & Ed's wedding last July was nothing short of magical, with bright florals, delicious ice cream (served from a gorgeous ice cream van, no less!), and endless sunshine beaming down onto our gorgeous grounds here .

A day full of love and laughter, set against the stunning backdrop of our venue... Nothing can beat it!

In the couple's own words, "We fell in love with The Great Barn the moment we stepped inside the beautiful courtyard, and we just had to share it with our friends & family. It was amazing to have the whole venue for just us and our guests, and Emma, John and the team were truly wonderful and made sure everything ran like clockwork for our special day. We just wish we could do it all again!"

Our summer dates for 2025 are fully booked, except for one weekend at the very end of August, available at a special rate due to late availability! An unforgettable day at The Great Barn, Devon, as featured in British Vogue.

Ellery & Flo’s wedding was a true celebration of love, set against the stunning countryside backdrop of our spectacular venue. From the beautifully intimate outdoor ceremony under the wooden arbour to the joyful moments shared with loved ones, it was everything they envisioned — personal, relaxed, and filled with pure joy.

As Ellery says, “Reflecting now on that gloriously sunny September day in the countryside, it’s the ceremony itself that stands out the most... It was held outside under a wooden arbour, and I arrived from the far end of the garden, so I got to see everyone as I walked through which was amazing – as was getting to see Florent. We didn’t want the ceremony to feel stuffy; it was low-key but still so personal to us. I remember feeling so excited but also at ease – and ready to party!”
