I don't make many of these.
My original cods were based on the rots template then adjusted to match the version ESB Anh Rotj.
So this is the first true RoTS that I've really created.
Belt box cut outs and a lovely deep squared corner insert.

Three ESB cods. All sold. All being shipped soon
All from the same template with the same materials. However all slightly different. I have to remind myself of this ever time I create a cod.
They are hand made. And no two will ever be alike.

I will say this is perfection
How a new ESB cod should look
ESB Vader is new perfect
Shining armour.
Why is the screen used cod beaten up and scruffy. It makes no sense.
So as I've always thought this is how ESB Vaders cod would have looked direct from his Taylor.
This has a home. It's staying in England with an nhlish Vader.
This is my new level.

My latest offering.
ESB.
This is probably going to the states as a replacement lost by the USPS.
Due to the current situation within the USPS I've had to find an alternative carrier.
With this in mind my cost to post to the us have increased by £10 per item
Not a huge amount.
But I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass this cost on.

ESB evolved. It's a very slight change to the template. And I mean slight.
As close as I can get to the screen used cod shape.

Rotj on the work bench
The overlap is very slightly out of alignment. Would take a good eye to spot it and a better eye to spot it when it's being worn.
Again I have to remind myself. Hand working and crafting. No two will ever really be the same.

I sometimes have to remind myself that what I do is hand made. And getting things the same every time is never going to happen
As in the screen used pieces there will be differences / small mistakes.
Some parts of this cod I love other parts not so happy with.
But on the whole. It's a very nice piece

My largest leather shipment arrived yesterday. 3 half hides 60 sq ft in total.
Enough for a few cods.
First one in the workshop an ESB.
Very pleased with how this one is going.

Getting foam
Backing and the insert just right is a difficult job.
I personally like clean lines and near symmetry on my inserts.
Sometimes things don't go according to my ideals.
Today's ESB cod has been awkward from start to this point
Stitching on the overlap slightly off the insert not to my liking.
But here is a picture of the original screen used item. And today's cod.
My be non perfect is the way to a more set accurate cod.

I get asked for ESB a lot. I also occasionally get some one day to me when you make a ROTJ let me know.
I've asked a lot of people what's the difference after all I'm just an ANH Vader.
Even the 501st use the same cod for ESB and Rotj.
Now is there a difference, possibly.
My take on it.
ESB a more even curve to the base of the insert. The ROTJ a little more squared off. Pictured below
