What a week I’ve had, one so full of love 🥰
I started the week up north in Inverness for Mr & Mrs Syylvero’s elopement, all the way from Canada. Then I was at The Three Kings Wedding Venue for the new Mr & Mrs Millar and yesterday at Seamill Hydro to top off a fantastic week with the new Mr & Mrs Mitchell.
It was truly a fantastic week and now to rest for a wee bit 💕 @

It’s a very special one for me yesterday as it I conducted my first elopement. I was just outside Beauly with Kevin and Emily who have come over from Canada to marry here in Bonny Scotland.
My drive up here reminded me, as ever, just how lucky we are to live somewhere so beautiful.

I was so lucky to conduct the handfasting at my daughter’s wedding. It was very emotional, I held that hand first and it was with such love I tied it with my daughter-in-law’s as they begin their new journey.

What a weekend we have had. On Friday my daughter had a secret marriage with her best friend, now beautiful wife. Only parents and brothers there, it was so special.
And then on Saturday it was their secret wedding. Everyone thought they were coming to an engagement party to be surprised by their wedding ceremony outside in the sunshine in a place where my dad spent a lot of time.
It was very special.

On Friday I was at The Three Kings Wedding Venue to marry this lovely pair. We had some handfasting with Graeme’s tartan and some cloth from Zoe’s stunning dress.
It was a very emotional day spent with family. There were probably the best behaved children ever, at the ceremony, not a peep.
Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Currie 💕 your love story was a perfect one 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

On Saturday I was so lucky to conduct this gorgeous couple’s wedding. Emma and Elliot had been together since school and had the most beautiful story. There were some tears and laughs, with a handfasting thrown in too. I am so very lucky to do the job I do 💕

I had the absolute joy of marrying these two at Broughty Castle Museum on Friday. The sun stayed out, burying a sausage worked it would seem. We had a lovely sand ceremony with sand from all their special beaches and beautiful personal vows. Gail was so organised with so many perfect personal little touches. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Douglas 💕

Wedding today was at the stunning Broughty Castle Museum. It was too windy for a video but what a beautiful day it was. Sausages were buried last night and it worked, we had a blue sky for whole ceremony.
Beautiful personal vows, sand ceremony for a couple who just love the beach.

On Saturday I had the pleasure of conducting the wedding of Mr & Mrs Scott and what a day it was. The sun was shining, family all together and lots of laughter.
Roz and Kris had some handfasting and then shared their first drink as a married couple from the quaich.
And the nicest thing I’ve ever heard a groom say: as his mum was coming down the aisle he said to me, “Doesn’t my mum look amazing. She is (not given you her age) and you’d never know.” A beautiful compliment to his lovely mum who poured their first drink for them.
Kris had a few tears as his stunning bride came down the hill to meet him.
Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Scott.

What a day for a wedding!
Today I was at Cardney Steading Events with Roz and Kris. Stunning bride (I will reveal tomorrow).
We had some handfasting and the quaich but the biggest surprise was the ring bearer who was an owl called Hendrix. It was just perfect in the sunshine finished by a visit from Roz’s horse. Thistle Ceremonies Strathblane Falconry

I was at Kippilaw House this week for Lucy and Iain’s wedding and it was stunning. They are such a beautiful family and it was a joy getting to know them all.

What a day to get married 💕 I was at the gorgeous today for Nisa and Mikey’s wedding. We had a sand ceremony to recognise the birth of their perfect baby, just 8 weeks ago! This amazing couple laughed from the minute they saw one another, there may have been a tear or two but a perfect day for a perfect family

These two, what can I say? They were so laid back throughout the process, relaxed and happy, just wanted to be together.
Jodie’s very proud dad walked her down the beautiful, long Coats Paisley aisle where Steven was waiting patiently.
It was no surprise that there was lots of laughter and a few tears because they had been waiting for this for a while.
After we signed to make it all legal Steven and Jodie shared their first drink together as a married couple sipping from the quaich.
The sun was shining and everyone had a huge smile for this perfect couple.
Congratulations again to Mr and Mrs Hillcoat 💕
