The bees love my chemical free flowers. They did a great PR job today showing 100’s of people that my flowers are 100% natural and bee friendly as they buzzed around the flowers. Thanks to everyone who came, chatted to me and bought bunches in the beautiful garden where I was stationed as part of Wallingford open gardens.

If you’re recently engaged and looking for a wedding venue in Oxfordshire then are holding a wedding open day today 1 June starting at 11am. It’s a gorgeous venue. Sadly I can’t be there but these flowers will be on display to give you an idea of what my seasonal and sustainable flowers that are grown less than 2 miles away look like. Please get in touch if you’re looking for a florist to flower up your day or to provide DIY buckets of our locally grown flowers.

Such a joy to be creating bouquets for my lovely brides again. This was for Fi who married Blake yesterday. Full of May gorgeousness, including those hoped for ranunculus.

My first wedding of the season today at the beautiful Fison Barn at the Earth Trust in Little Wittenham.

These churns full of seasonal flowers & foliage grown a couple of miles from the venue are standing proud under the fabulous stretch tent where the wedding ceremony took place.

The family created the table flowers from DIY buckets of flowers I provided.

When I first met the lovely bride Fi and her mum last year they hoped to have ranunculus featuring in the flowers. After the very warm spring I did warn them a few weeks ago that they may all be over but I’m so pleased that I did have some left to cut which made their way into these churns, the brides bouquet & hair and even enough to add to my DIY buckets of flowers. I’m lucky that so many couples that I work with understand that when working with nature and the fleeting micro seasons that I can’t always guarantee a certain flower but what I can guarantee is that the flowers will be picked within 24-48 hours of your wedding and will be the best the cutting beds have to offer at that moment in time. Of course if you have a special request I will always try to supplement from other local growers like the stunning peonies from

What a gorgeous wedding to start the wedding season off with.

Flowers captured in the sunlight whilst it lasts. Off to Chelsea tomorrow and can’t wait to see the gold medal winners farewell flowers display. It’s the first time funeral flowers have been exhibited at Chelsea and I’m sure their amazing design will get the conversation started amongst so many that didn’t know that farewell flowers can be a beautiful personal tribute created sustainably using beautiful British grown flowers with the individual in mind. I’m proud to be a member of the farewell flowers directory and hope that this will mark a shift in people’s mindsets and stop the use of floral foam that is so commonly used to create farewell flowers.
