We love this historic hip flask that Keep Military Museum have dug out for Brew Dorch! Thanks for sharing guys!
Its this weekend! We have looked through our archive and have found this trench art from WW1. It is a small whisky hip flask made of glass with a silver and leather surround.

John Wright is at Tom Browns Pub, Dorchester today at 6pm with a selection of cocktails made my foraged ingredients - see you there! 🍹
This Friday we are excited to have writer and forager John Wright with us demonstrating a selection of wild cocktails for you to taste.
-This free event is part of Brew Dorch - Dorchester's Festival of Drinks will be starting at 6pm, due to finish at 7pm but John is very enthusiastic so it may run over!
- There will be seating and cocktails for between 30-40 people so if you’d like a seat then please get in early.
- We aren’t reserving seats unless you having a special requirement or you bribe the bar staff
-You are able to stand but we can’t guarantee there will be cocktails for all!
- There will be food from Tortilla Cantina, more on that later…
Sorry to announce that this folk song Walk hosted by Alastair Simpson is cancelled. However, you can still catch Alastair at his Knit Your Own Tankard Cosy workshop, at the Mummers Play in Brewery Square on Sunday afternoon AND at on Sunday eve at Convivial Rabbit micropub for the Brew Dorch Folk Night Finale!🍺🍻🍺

Next week we’re at The Kings Arms, Dorchester for our Beer Tankard Workshop as part of Brew Dorch 2024! I’ll be showing ya’ll all the slab building tips and tricks to make your own pottery tankard ready for a lifetime of drinking misuse! George Orwell said “Beer tastes better from China” so it ain’t just me tooting the pottery tankard horn! Trust us you’re gonna love it.
FYI this workshop is suitable for total beginners and more experienced potters alike!
If tankards aren’t really your thing, but pottery is, join us and use your new found skills to make your own mugs, jugs, planters or butter dishes☕️ 🧈

The techniques learned in this open and friendly workshop will set up the novice or beginner knitter for future projects - and you'll emerge with your own tankard cosy!

Join POTS N PINTS for a beer-inspired pottery-in-the-pub workshop on Saturday 17th February at 12pm.
You’ll be guided through every step of the tankard-making process from rolling out slabs of clay, to adding a handle, to letting loose on decoration. You’ll be provided with all the clay, necessary tools and on-hand tutoring by professional potter Anna to ensure that your tankard will be of the best quality and ready for a lifetime of beer drinking misuse!
