This was a really special party! 🎉

I was the surprise entertainment for my English Literature teacher’s birthday from my sixth form days, Bridget Walsh. She’s now a published author, so I just had to do some magic with one of her books 📚

I’m currently reading her first book and it’s amazing, no spoilers 🤐

It was so lovely to reconnect with Bridget as well as Mary and Caroline, who also taught me when I was at Hills Road!

Definitely a gig I’m going to remember for a long time 🥳

If you’re not a magician then you might not be aware that one of the biggest magic shops in the industry, Vanishing Inc, lost their warehouse to a fire at the start of this month.

The same thing happened a few weeks later to another company, Magic Shop San Diego, whilst I was writing this article.

Fun fact: I’ve been waiting to get a photo with Dynamo for 10 Years. I was at the Magic Circle (amongst many other young magicians at the time) as we saw him be welcomed into the Magic Circle. I followed my bustling peers afterwards as we tried to get a picture with him. Almost everyone else managed to get one. Except me. I really tried! I was poking my head through the huge mass of people that surrounded him, patiently waiting my turn, and then suddenly there was this huge gasp. He disappeared. Classic Dynamo. Everyone was so impressed but not me. I was furious…

Anyway, got my photo now so alls we’ll that ends well 😊

To conclude, an incredible day and I can’t wait to come back next year!

This was such a beautiful day, just shy of the heatwave so the weather was lovely, at one of my favourite venues

Last night I had the incredible honour of being the first Magician to ever perform an Edinburgh Fringe Preview at The Magic Circle

Huge thank you to Simon Lipkin, Henri White and Preston Nyman for their amazing work and organising a great evening, and a big shoutout to Pete Heat who followed me. His show is hilarious and I can’t wait to see it again in Edinburgh!

My incredible costume was created by Eleanor Tipler and music throughout the show was written by the amazing Liam Taylor!

And a ginormous thank you to everyone who braved the heat and came to see it! I hope you all enjoyed the show 😄

Still can’t believe I won the annual magic competition last night!

It was such a fun evening performing with my fellow club members! Honestly, there’s nothing better than watching live magic so winning was just the cherry on top!

As a close-up magician, there’s nothing more enjoyable than seeing people light-up with laughter, trying to get their heads around my tricks 🤯

I recently had the great honour of performing for the lovely people of the Cambridge University Law Society at their Lent Gala and as you can see, they had a great time. I was a bit worried that, because they are all Cambridge Law Students, they’d be acutely aware about out how all my tricks were done. Thankfully, I can report that didn’t happen and the future of the law is officially NOT in safe hands 😉

It was also an honour to perform on behalf of The Pentacle Club and The Academy of Magic and Science! Thank you so much for sending me 😁

Last weekend I had the best time at the convention. This must be my 8th or 9th year attending and I have to say this was my favourite to date! After a two year absence, this was a well needed visit. It was brilliant hanging out with some of the best magicians in the world, some of whom I’m honoured to call my friends. I also got to meet tiktok superstar and , the genius behind Nemesis, Oblivion and other incredible Rollercoasters around the world.

Oh, and I met a fan called Stephen who insisted on getting a photo with me

I’m really proud to announce that I have officially been welcomed as a Member of The Magic Circle. This has been one of my childhood goals, so to say I am now legitimately a member is a true honour. Yes, the moment I found out felt exactly like Hagrid burst through my front door and told me “You’re A Wizard, Roman”, only it was over the phone. Thank you so much to everybody who has supported me over the years. Can’t wait to see what the future holds... which as a member I’m sure I’ll find out in one way or another 🧙‍♂️

I had great fun frightening season ticket holders last night on their tour of the Emirates Stadium. Definitely the quirkiest job I’ve ever had! Made some guy fall out of his chair screaming. Thanks for having me 🧛🏻
