Been a lot going on BTS (does it ever stop!) so apologies for no posts for 2 months. Lots of changes happening in my life and not a lot of time to process them all.
Heading off tomorrow via ✈️ for the second 2024 event to our beloved Croatia 🇭🇷 Can’t wait for this event, really thankful it will keep me busy and with such a great team on board too!

Clara is most comfortable, well, wearing nothing - she makes this well known! 😂 But every time she joins us on an Artemisian trip I just have to get something for IG- and with such a stunning face I’m always drawn to taking portraits of her and her freckles! 😻

Two weeks ago today I returned from a month-long Artemisian trip to Sicily. There has been a bit of a delay in an update here as I had to move home two days after my return!! It was, or so I thought, the one I wanted to “just get done” - this trip was originally booked in early 2019, should have happened in 2020, then again in 2021. The build up and the pressure I suppose made me see it in a bit of a negative light before I even gave it a chance…We had so many people book originally, then cancel, then it would sell out again, a slot would open and well- you get the jist!! HOWEVER, almost four years on we finally made it!! It was the last of the trio of events I had booked before Iain passed away so I suppose in many ways it was quite an important event all round. It didn’t come without its challenges- no Artemisian trip, nor event ever does! After a week of scouting (most of the locations Iain and I had found when we went over in 2019) and checking out just about every supermarket in and around Ragusa the weather started to threaten to change. This really was the biggest negative of the event. No matter how hard you plan, organise or work if the weather is going to misbehave, there isn’t much you can do other than to try to stay calm… She says. Almost every single day of this event I had to change something- everyone of course is always supportive and telling me “not to worry”, “not to stress” but as the sole organiser of such a big event I don’t really have a choice- if I sit back shrugging my shoulders saying “oh well” nothing will be solved, and no one would have the amazing experience I have planned for them! I realise now more than ever, and will give myself some credit, that I am a skilled problem solver- look at my life over the last 17 months alone!! I have been pushed to the limit and I still manage to make things work, fiercely determined and passionate about not giving up! The first week went well, myself, Carla and Adr
