Paid opportunity! 

We’re after an experienced photographer to work our photobooth at the after party for 2 hours for our Magna event in March. 

* Must have experience shooting with artificial light
* Must have experience using Adobe Lightroom
* Must have own camera
* Experience working in an events environment, using photo booth equipment would be preferable, however training and assistance will be given on the day.  

In addition to £35ph, you will also receive free entry to enjoy the rest of the evening should you please. 

If this sounds like it fits your skill set, we’d like to hear from you.

Ready for the afterparty of the century?!
Join us as we take you through the Eras.. 

will be taking over the decks.. with over a decade on the scene, producing national radio shows, BBC background, and doing top UK events, he's a dynamic DJ known for keeping the dance floor alive!

If dancing your heart out isn't your thing,  Karaoke will be back!

Prefer a bit of quiet time? We have a dedicated space. The talented DM will be hosting a D&D session!

Extra fun? Decades fancy dress, as silly or as serious as you like. Chose a decade between 1900 - 2000. Whether you want to cut a rug like it's 1920, get your kicks from the 50's, or just party with the common people in the 90's, we're sure you'll look Groovy Baby!

If you're the first to recommend a venue to the team that we use for any future event in 2025-2027, then we will hand over a £250 referral fee.

East of England

Members of the Secret Court,

Our Keele Hall event has now been and gone, and we are so happy to see so many of you attended. The cosplays we saw during the day were amazing, so much variety, utilising the space really well. Photographers, we are seeing so many stunning shots already being shared. A massive well done and thank you to all of you that came. As always we need to thank the volunteers that help make the day run smoothly and support all attendees. This is our last planned event for 2024. We have had 3 amazing events which we have enjoyed hosting so much. 2025 is going to be another amazing year, kicking off with our Magna event on 1st & 2nd March (have you got your tickets yet?) and after that we have a few treats in store…

It’s that time again, the end of another Secret Con and what an amazing event it was! We had our first ever afterparty and the Karaoke went down a storm, we are looking forward to seeing the videos crop up for years to come on people’s memories. The prison is always a venue that delivers and from what we have seen so far, WOW! Both photographers and cosplayers have stepped it up a notch. We also want to say the vibe around the event was amazing, as organisers it’s amazing to see how much our community has grown during the 4 years since we launched our first Secret Con event at the prison. We also had our first proposal, a big congratulations from the whole team. A MASSIVE thank you to volunteers who always make our events possible, they are the heartbeat of our events. As you’re all aware, this was unfortunately our last scheduled time at the prison due to development on the site. However, if we all keep our fingers crossed and hope for a miracle, then you never know what may happen. It’s been one of our homes since we started and helped put us on the map and whilst we will miss it, 2024 still has one more event at Keele Hall in August and 2025 will bring an old favourite back in March for a 2 day event at Magna (where by popular demand the Karaoke will return!). Once again thank you to all of you who really make these events really amazing and possible.

After Party
Inmates! Are you ready for the very unique experience of having a party inside a prison!? On Saturday, the doors open again for the after-party from 7pm till midnight.

There will be two main areas for the party. The canteen will have a more chill atmosphere, where people can hang out and sing karaoke if they are feeling brave enough. The second area will be in the prison chapel, where you can really get your groove on, with the DJ playing a mixture of party songs.

Both areas will have a licenced bar serving a selection of drinks, with the service in the canteen limited to bottled. You will be unable to bring your own booze we’re afraid!

Due to the nature of the venue, the afterparty does hold some accessibility implications for attendees as the chapel is only accessible via stairs. Please check the event page for more details regards accessibility.

Please make sure you have purchased a valid ticket for the after party as this is separate to the weekend tickets.
