It’s that time again, the end of another Secret Con and what an amazing event it was! We had our first ever afterparty and the Karaoke went down a storm, we are looking forward to seeing the videos crop up for years to come on people’s memories. The prison is always a venue that delivers and from what we have seen so far, WOW! Both photographers and cosplayers have stepped it up a notch. We also want to say the vibe around the event was amazing, as organisers it’s amazing to see how much our community has grown during the 4 years since we launched our first Secret Con event at the prison. We also had our first proposal, a big congratulations from the whole team. A MASSIVE thank you to volunteers who always make our events possible, they are the heartbeat of our events. As you’re all aware, this was unfortunately our last scheduled time at the prison due to development on the site. However, if we all keep our fingers crossed and hope for a miracle, then you never know what may happen. It’s been one of our homes since we started and helped put us on the map and whilst we will miss it, 2024 still has one more event at Keele Hall in August and 2025 will bring an old favourite back in March for a 2 day event at Magna (where by popular demand the Karaoke will return!). Once again thank you to all of you who really make these events really amazing and possible.
