It was exciting hearing at Sport England's strategy launch all about their 10-year vision to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity.

Coaches will be vital to delivering the new strategy. They can, and do, play a critical role in bringing people and communities together through the medium of sport and physical activity.

And to deliver the strategy, we must invest in coaches. That includes funding/employing coaches who work in those communities hit hardest by the pandemic, to help people get active again, or get active for the first time.

By uniting as a sector, and collaborating beyond our sector, it means we can look beyond Covid-19 and tackle the biggest issues of the next decade.

Ticket prices for Town's three home pre-season friendly matches have been confirmed - with entry now by card payment only.
Spectators will be allowed back into the stadium for the first time next Tuesday, 25 Aug (7.45pm ko) for the pre-season match against Canterbury City.
Further home friendlies have been confirmed against Erith Town on Saturday, 29 Aug (1pm ko) and Margate on Tuesday, 1 Sept (7.45pm ko).
Entry will be half-price, meaning adults pay just £5, over 60s and student card holders pay £3 and children aged 12-17 pay £1. Under 12s are free with an adult.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO CASH ACCEPTED AT THE TURNSTILE due to Covid-19 restrictions. Entry will be by debit or credit card only - so please ensure you have the correct payment method to ensure entry.
Government rules also mean all spectators will also need to leave contact details for Track & Trace.
Please help to speed up your entry by pre-registering for our evePASS scheme - just point your phone camera at the QR code below and follow the link to give your details in advance.
Then just check-in at the stadium by pointing your phone camera at the QR code posted on the turnstile door.
Town's Covid Officer Brian Flynn said: "We have introduced cashless payment at the gates in order to avoid handling cash at the turnstiles.
"We have had to change a number of things at the stadium so that we can allow fans back in, and have been working really hard in recent weeks to make it happen because we know supporters have been missing football as much as we have.
"We know many people will welcome the convenience of cashless entry but we also know some would still prefer to hand over notes.
"However, in the current climate, we ask them to bear with us and make sure they have a card with them to pay, either by contactless or entering their PIN number.
"It is important that we follow the rules to make sure everything is safe and we can get spectators into the ground to support their team.
"It will also help the club - and the fans - if they pre-register their details in advance using the QR code so that they can check in at the ground in a matter of seconds."
