we’ve been pretty quiet for a while - mainly due to having a fantastic holiday and then getting straight back to organising Wrexham's Monthly Street Market!

but we’ve got a few awesome events lined up over the next few weeks!

we’ll be on Queen’s Square on Thursday October 31st for The Big Wrexham Halloween Spookfest!

we’ll then be at Brymbo Sports and Social Complex on Sunday November 10th for their Safe Spaces Disco and Firework Event.

we’ll be serving your usual favourite veggie and vegan street food dishes, and of course our Sprite Sister Bluebell will be with us serving waffles, pancakes, ice creams and milkshakes.

well it’s been an eventful week!

I’ve been pretty incapacitated due to having a toenail permanently removed and then also slicing my hand open with a Stanley knife 5 days later 🤦‍♀️

which means all I’ve been able to do is paint, while Jambo and Mum have done everything else!

so Buttercup has had new flooring, some new ceiling boards and panelling, new seat covers and a fresh lick of paint everywhere - AND my serving hatch has finally been fixed!

she looks as good as new 😍

Buttercup has had a bit of a bashing over the last couple of years, so I’m trying to do a few little touch up jobs on her at the moment inbetween events - which is quite a difficult task but I’m getting there slowly!

I definitely like making work for myself though - I actually locked my keys in it the other week 🤦‍♀️ and had to pop the small window open on the front to get in. of course I didn’t realise that it was the only glass window on the whole caravan, so as I forced it open the whole thing shattered in my face.
I managed to get a piece of polycarbonate cut to size from the really helpful Westminster Plastic Fabrication on Wrexham industrial estate, and I glued it in and sealed it all myself, so I’m pretty proud of that!

the rest of the windows have also become a bit tatty over time, and they’re damaged from the inside due to all the heat that comes from cooking so close to them - so the absolutely fantastic Slick Stickers have once again done a wonderful job of covering them up and making them look all clean and tidy again 😊

just got (quite) a few more jobs to do over the next few weeks and she’ll be looking beautiful again!
