Heres a little more explanationโก๏ธโก๏ธ As soon as Eleven's mother gave birth, Dr Brenner ( senior research scientist and director of Hawkins National Laboratory) kidnapped baby Eleven, stripped her of her birth name (Jane), and turned her into test subject 011. Brenner insisted on Eleven calling him โPapa,โ making her see him as a father figure and therefore making her easier to manipulate. She was then subjected to many scientific experiments ๐งซ๐ฅผ๐งช as she grew older she later managed to flee the lab and seek refuge, where she met the boys whom welcomed her into their community ๐ฅฐ
