Love Felixstowe Festival came to a close on Friday, after hosting an air show, the Art on the Prom and the Tour of Britain Stage Five.

After months of planning, Love Felixstowe is on! We’ve had singers, Bollywood dancers, art, foodies, choirs, bike maintenance sessions, giant games, movies on the beachside, circus performers, bike displays, face painters, sparkle bars and more! And there’s still more to come!

It has been an absolute pleasure putting this together with East Suffolk Council and Felixstowe BID - the feedback has been positive and this could be the first of many ‘Love Felixstowe Festivals’.

Looking for something different to do this weekend - or even for most of next week?
The Love Felixstowe festival starts on Saturday, running for 6 whole days and concluding with the arrival of the Tour of Britain in the town on Thursday.
There will be music, movies, entertainers, food, drink, crafts, activities, bike hire, led rides, bike displays, Lego and more - quite literally something for everyone!

It isn’t always just about the event itself - the build up can be equally as important. The Tour of Britain will set off and return to Felixstowe on 7th September and in the pre-event stages engagement with press and stakeholders is key to building solid foundations.

This is why the ‘media ride’ is such a valuable idea 🚲🚲

Invite press and supporting organisations along to ride some of the stage 5, Suffolk, route - accompanied by a young St Piran hopeful and you have a fantastic example of involvement, engagement and scene setting.

Oh! and the involvement of two wonderful venues along the way and
