I love to create Bouquets, Buttonholes, Corsages, Flower wands & hoops, Centrepieces, Garlands & Floral hairpieces. A question you may ask yourself when deciding on your perfect blooms for your big day. There was a stigma attached to faux flowers for many years...tacky, plastic & cheap looking. I feel faux flowers gives the Bride & Groom more choice...Sunflowers in winter...of course, Blue Roses i
n your bouquet...why not!? You have the option to choose any flower in pretty much any colour at anytime of the year. Allergy resistant...we don’t want a sneezing bride walking down the aisle or a mother of the groom eyes streaming for the wrong reasons! You have no worries with faux flowers in that department. Faux flowers have an indefinite shelf life so they do last longer...In terms of waste, artificial flowers stay looking good for years with a regular dust whereas fresh flowers have to be replaced at least every week. Great for travelling...pack them up in your suitcase and off you go! A great keepsake...the Bridal party and Groomsmen will all get to keep their own little flower creation as a momento of your special day. Reuse...pop your bridal bouquet in a vase so it can be displayed in your home, how lovely is that! As a florist...faux flowers give me great flexibility and I feel the quality of flowers that you can source in todays market are as good as or even better than the real thing. It is a great feeling when someone thinks your arrangements are created with real flowers...it makes me think “yes that is the reaction I want”! After all it took a lot of research and a few hit & misses to find good quality faux flower suppliers that I am happy with. Still not sure...ask me for a sample box of flowers & foliage before you place your order, you will see for yourself how realistic and beautiful faux flowers are.

Maddie & Neil
Relaxed & Rustic was the vibe for Maddie & Neil’s wedding in June.
Blue, Ivory & Green with a hint of Yellow was the colour palette and Bluebells, Thistles, Calla Lillies, Poppies & Roses were added for a personal touch.
I loved the texture of the different choices of flowers and foliage which I hope you can see through the photos.

Lindsey & Michael
When Lindsey told me her vision for her wedding I knew I had to create them!
Just picked garden flowers with long stems…using one stem of each type of flower, Poppies, Daisies & Lavender were just some of the flowers used with an added personal flower of Larkspur.
Myself and Lindsey built up a great relationship and often spoke on FaceTime…which was a bonus as she lives in Northern Ireland!
Absolutely beautiful photos of both Lindsey & Michael…it was a pleasure to create them for you.

Classic Vibes
I recently created this bouquet for my lovely bride Kate who got married in Cyprus recently.
Using White & Ivory Roses, Delphinium, Peonies, Gypsophila & various Eucalyptus the bouquet tied in with the Mediterranean location beautifully.
It’s great to finally start showing you what I have been busy working on as I will never show a bridal bouquet until after the wedding!

Finally…
So we are off on our honeymoon tomorrow…a year late but we can’t wait!
Time to relax and unwind and spend some well needed time together.
I will be away from the flower room until the 12th July…I have caught up with all my couples and I look forward to creating for my August brides & grooms when I get back.
This photo was taken last year on our mini moon in Cornwall…how time flies!
