Thank you to everyone who came along to the market at Chatelherault Country Park today, it was great to see the market extremely busy and to see the stallholders sell out. We look forward to doing it all again next Sunday with another phenomenal line-up of fantastic small businesses from across Scotland. Today is #marketday at Chatelherault Country Park ML3 7UE, 10am to 4pm. We have an incredible line-up today with 80.stalls filled to the brim with the very best food and drink available from Scotland's finest award winning producers. We also have our street food crew serving the most delicious scran around. If that is not enough, we have an extensive range of home and garden gift vendors, artist showcasing their talents, fashions and accessories not to mention the fabulous pet stalls and so much more... We look forward to seeing everyone for a fabulous day out.

A walk through the market at 10am opening this morning at Chatelherault Country Park Sorry just getting the chance to post this as it has been crazy crazy busy.

❗❗ Vendor Spotlight ❗❗ @Jana Prchalová who is with us at Chatelherault Country Park this Sunday the 9th of April. This animated video is produced using Jana's illustration's. A Czech trained animator and illustrator who has lived and worked in Glasgow for over 20 years. Her movie, Mondo's Search for the Sun was conceived shortly after she arrived in Scotland. Jana is a graduate from film school in Prague, where she was taught by the world renowned Bretislav Pojar. Jana's paintings soon attracted attention, as did her graduation film, Desire. She was offered a place on Scottish Screen's Generating Animations Skills Programme GASP which lead, eventually to Mondo being made. Mondo, the lonely protagonist, employs all his ingenuity and imagination to find the warm innocence of childhood, but is it enough to feel "the sun" again? Produced in collaboration with the Glasgow digital animation studio Once Were Farmers and Scottish Screen there is two years intensive work in Mondo. The animation is of a style and quality seldom seen here, because it combines Jana's traditional 2D illustrations with the 3D wizardry. Jana is now focusing on illustration's. She enjoys creating her own world made out of paper mache and recycled materials. Some more images added in comments.
