This was a beautiful tent planned to celebrate a daughter’s 21st birthday. Mum was best friends with another lovely customer so it was extra special to look back on those festival parties and plan this one. Children grow so fast. It’s all so wonderful and I love that they all still want parties to celebrate them 🧡

The request was for a White Company theme with space for family to relax, enjoy a drink and maybe dine and dance.
The setting was beautiful-a natural part of the garden perfectly matched to the interior. We got@to use the lanterns from Ruby’s 18th-first time using lanterns in the Emperor and we@thought they looked fab. All expertly arranged by and .cowie
Sadly the weather didn’t get the memo but, this is just the Summer that never was apart from one glorious day yesterday!

Thank you so much for the recommendation and to Charlotte for letting us be a part of such a special day.

First weekend of the 6 week holidays here so very exciting. 4 sleeps until with my uni mates!!! So excited 🏕️🎪🎸

Here’s a glimpse of a Cinema Party to celebrate Max’s 14th birthday.
Such a lovely family, it was a real treat to be invited back.
Max’s first Canvas Belles’ party was a Racing themed tent designed to also celebrate the families first night in their new home.

Three years later, another new home, this time the theme was…cinema.
Max chose beanbags rather than chairs for his outdoor cinema experience and had 4 friends to help celebrate.
It’s always so lovely to catch up with previous customers-so much to talk about and, with some, such as it’s like you have known them for a very long time

Luckily I had my dream team with me .cowie and else it could have been the longest set up in history!
Cinema nights have been quite the gamble this year but luckily we have a short throw cinema that works inside the tent so our campers can enjoy their movie projected onto the canvas.
For Max and his friends it was The Fall Guy-one of our favourites.
For me,at this point of the school term, it would be the movie which allowed me to sleep the longest😂
What would be your choice?

Good morning everyone! We are in Sunny Beer today so seemed appropriate to share this beautiful sunny Wedding Day for .bernardes94
I first met Sam and Sam in February. We did a site visit and honestly-the sweetest couple who just wanted to plan everything around giving their guests the best time. They were so lovely.
We arrived the morning after our holiday and it was so action packed-they really had thought of everything! It was such a lovely day. The sun was shining and the colours chosen made the venue really come alive.
Alex’s team are so friendly. Honestly, I could not recommend more. Really lovely people, beautiful setting and attention to detail plus the most gorgeous food.
I loved that the gazebo for the bar matched the wedding colours and that the beautiful table flowers by tied everything in beautifully.
Even the take down was fun-such an amazing venue to see at night; listening to the band finishing their set whilst everyone was in full swing. Alex even sent us home with pizza and wine! Amazing. Thank you so much to the new Mr and Mrs Nesbitt and all the lovely suppliers who made it such a special day.

Anyone who knows me well (or follows me on here) has probably guessed that my boredom threshold is rather low. No two parties are ever the same-they may look a little bit alike but always come with a little tweak to make it personal to the birthday child. I love a challenge.

That said, when Scarlett requested an theme, although I was super excited a small part of me was nervous that it might be a bit plain for an 11 year old.
How wrong I was…
Scarlet was inspired! Look how beautiful her ideas looked and I loved receiving a very excited text message from her to say how much she loved it.
Such a beautiful setting and equally beautiful family.

Imagine you’re just starting your bell tent company and you are blessed with the most amazing customers who really appreciate what you do and are exactly why you started your business.
If , like me, you grew up with a parent who was gifted in sales then you know that looking after your customers is key. If they have loved what you do and would like a repeat then what bigger compliment is there.
I’ve always promised that we will do whatever we can to honour requests of all past customers-no matter how last minute.
This wasn’t last minute but it was a bit of a juggle as I was due in London at 430 for a tour with my besties.
However, these girls left their first bell so beautifully and loved it so much that there was no way I could let them down!
Proper teamwork from my Canvas Belles gang meant u made it to the station with just 10mins to spare!
My friends would kill me for sharing our disco pics on here but, if you’re curious then check their page for the kind of fun you never knew you could be having on a busy Saturday afternoon in central London 😂💃

Good morning everyone! I know,I know. Nothing for ages the two posts in 24 hours! I’m on super catch up mode again🤦‍♀️
Here’s a bell tent created for football mad Harrison! A huge Arsenal fan. Thanks to the Euros football has been super popular this season and this lucky boy got to have a sleepover with his besties and an outdoor movie night.
I loved setting this one up. Dad was super kind and helped put some missing springs back on one campbed-that’s dedication. Putting springs back is definitely a job for the brave although moving to campbeds only is definitely the best move we ever made!

What are you all up to today? I’m just emptying the van before collecting a double bell sleepover then going to school for my favourite afternoon of the week-music with KS1! Lots of singing and drumming and dancing. They are little stars 💫

Here’s my favourite tent all set up for the wonderful Hen Weekend. Middle of Flaming June-you could be forgiven for expecting sunshine and dry skies but… silly me. This is England 🤦‍♀️
Luckily it did dry up and there was sunshine which is how it should be as Jess and her partner were absolutely lovely and had so many lovely plans!
This tent is super popular for family parties and hen weekends. If you have a celebration coming up and we can help then please let me know. We will always try our best to help.

Ad. Those who have followed me for a while will know I’m a huge fan of products-click on any set up over the last few years and there will be at least one product of theirs hanging around and giving a bit of extra magic to my table trays or picnic set ups.
I need versatile products that can be used in many different themes, will always look good and be long lasting.
Being a bell tent prop is not for the faint hearted and I’ve fallen out of love with many a company for not creating sustainable products that can be used on repeat.
Also, as my customers know, although set ups may look expensive, I only ever use sturdy products that are cost effective as I don’t want anyone to worry about damages, replacement costs or products that are non-recyclable.

When I provide a party the aim is to help parents create something magical for their child-not add a lot of stress.

So, with Taylor Swift mania sweeping the UK, Glastonbury coming up and three of my favourite girls needing a respite from A Level stress the call from to offer an opportunity to collaborate, was perfect timing.
I couldn’t have done any of it without my beautiful models or the incredible photography skills of Terri or the countless teenage girls I badgered for advice.

I’m not a Swiftie but I’m hoping she’d approve of small female businesses supporting each other and three strong girls being amazing at supporting each other and their mums!

Here’s a flashback to this lovely Rainbow&Unicorn set up for Serena’s 11th birthday.

To be fair it was almost all Rainbow as someone couldn’t find her (already packed🤦‍♀️)unicorn props in the morning…
but, luckily Louise was lovely and very understanding!
It was so nice to have Serena help me set everything up. I always plan the parties days in advance but also love how the party girls love to get involved and put everything together for their friends. They have such care and want everything just right. I also admire how they know exactly what their friends would like and who would like to sleep where!
Such a perfect room for a sleepover and I’ve also now discovered the most beautiful road in Stratford Upon Avon!

amazing props to decorate the garden!
Maddison and her besties were treated to an outdoor cinema; picnic and sleepover! Such a happy set up. We let Maddison have it an extra night as felt so bad taking it all away!

Currently sat on a very delayed flight to Croatia so thought I’d cheer myself up with photos of recent set ups! I just loved the colours of this one.
Arya’s party with her besties and Stitch. Stitch has been a busy boy just lately! Super popular again which makes me happy as my now grown up Rubes was once his biggest fan!
Arya was such a delight. She helped me set the tray tables and arrange the cushions to make sure everything was just right for her friends.
Mum was so lovely and made sure everything was just perfect for the party x

Look at this set up for Bella’s big birthday. Not sure many things are better than hitting double figures when you’re a kid and this superstar wanted to celebrate in style with her besties!
Bella wanted the Cloud 9 theme but for it to be quite simple so we went for a mix of teepees in n**e, blue and white with gorgeous ribbon bunting by and some gorgeous pink peonies to add a bit of colour.
What a beautiful bright setting too! Please take a moment to chexk the new flower cushions….got a double let down with delivery so ended up driving to Banbury to collect them-there’s dedication to ensure your party is just perfect! luckily we all loved them else that would have been just devastating😂

It was a genuine pleasure to meet you Gemma. Thank you so much for choosing us and also for the incredible balloons making it all look so beautiful.

Happy Saturday everyone! The middle of flaming June with everyone basking in gorgeous sunshine…. The great British Summer 😂

I’d like to say a HUGE Thank You to all my amazing customers! All embracing this weather and determined to go ahead with their beautiful parties no matter what x

Did you know that in the last three weeks we have delivered 14 parties! 4 to repeat customers(almost 5 but we just couldn’t make it work-I’m still so very sorry ) , 5 who were recommended us and 5 wonderful new customers ❤️

This was our third creation for beautiful Leanne. Our first was for the most joyful hen weekend ever. The second as a surprise 40th for her best friend and this…for her adorable daughter Lois who wanted a mermaid sleepover and picnic tent.
It truly was the most beautiful setting complete with miniature ponies and a huge old tree.
Quite possibly it was also the longest set up in the world due to torrential rain, a mouldy tent that had to be replaced, a flower run, lots of chatting and…several tea breaks with pastries provided by Leanne!

Poor Lois had to wait a whole year for her party tent as we just couldn’t make it work last year but this year…she got two special tents and we wanted to make them just right!

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying the blazing June sunshine…oh…stop, wait….there isn’t any is there 😭
Here is a flashback to Sara and Matt’s beautiful wedding at Billesley Manor on Bank Holiday Sunday. Such a gorgeous day. The weather may have been a little unkind but a few little changes to schedule and no one would know x

Such a beautiful and thoughtful couple, no one was left uncovered. The doggies had their own snack station, the decorations beautiful and the children had their very own VIP area courtesy of yours truly!

I loved the colours for this wedding-stunning pinks , greens and a dash of red. Swipe right to see the most beautiful cherry trees adorning each table.
I love weddings…seeing the flowers being put together; the tables set out; lawns mown and whole teams of people working together but separately to make sure the vision of each couple(usually bride) is brought to life.
Wedding Corners may seem like an unnecessary expense but trust me…every single couple at every wedding always says the same thing….we weren’t sure we needed one but…it was the best money we spent! Happy Children/Happy Guests and everyone can focus on the most important thing-celebrating the newly weds

Mila’s Birthday Part 2! What a beautiful setting for our outdoor movie! Even managed the right colours for the right Harry Potter house…
Having a movie attached to your bell tent party is a great idea. Choose to use our projector in the tent or have it set outside. In fact, with everything self contained in our cinema trolley, you can do both.
The cinema comes with sound bar attached and a firestick preloaded with Netflix, Amazon and Disney Plus(or log onto your own accounts!). As easy as it can be and@our Canvas Belles promise…we won’t leave until you have proper wifi connection.

This Harry Potter inspired party tent for might look great here but was almost a disaster! Mila is a huge Gryffindor fan. I was happily organising lots of blue and gold accessories when casually asked why I had changed it to Ravenclaw …..
Disaster averted it was a pleasure to set up in the loveliest location with the company of the most beautiful dog-she was a beauty!
Lucky Mila also got an outdoor cinema but I’ll share that separately.

I loved creating this half term treat for a lovely girl who’d just moved schools and had to wait until the holidays to celebrate her birthday with her besties! This was such a lovely bright set up-inspired by the gorgeous pyjamas bought by Mum for the lucky sleepover squad.

Well, that was a super busy half term! So many new customers and some lovely returning ones! It was so lovely to be asked back to for Skye’s 15th birthday celebration. 8 beds for a surprise sleepover and the most amazing bar decoration which was nothing to do with us!!!

Oh look! The half term weather may be rubbish but, when you have an amazing Mum like , who arranges a bit of tropical Stitch magic for your birthday….
What does it matter!
This was an 8th birthday surprise which had my daughter’s heart as a huge fan of Stitch.
In fact, big moment as I was allowed to borrow Ruby’s BIG Stitch for the party!
I think BIG Stitch was quite happy as he’s currently having a bit of a Toy Story moment now Ruby is 18 and no time for giving him all the attention he was used to…
Mum had bought lots of lovely Stitch goodies from Primark and we were wondering..why has he suddenly become so popular agin? I love him because he was always so naughty like my mini Rubes and so he’s attached to so many happy memories but…does anyone know why so popular again?

Happy Half Term everyone! We are having a flying trip down to Beer so thought I’d use the journey to do a quick instagram catch-up! Nothing like going from no Instagram posts to double figures in a day! Brace yourselves people!

This was a super cute set up for Sakura’s birthday. She loves purples and pale blues and furs! She and her friends were having a sleepover with movies and a pamper/picnic session!
Her little sister was quite determined to help Sakura style her tent and was desperate to have her turn the following night! One of the benefits of choosing us is that we always offer two nights as standard so siblings feeling left out can get a turn and make life easier for both the birthday child and the parents.
Mum Hollie was so lovely and it was extra nice to get a message from another Hollie to say her daughter was getting a second chance at a Canvas Belles sleepover with Sakura! ❤️
This is our 4m bell! Doesn’t she look lovely in the sunshine!

Do you ever wake up with the feeling that you may, possibly, have taken a bit too much on! My brain is a bit like a bag of uncontrolled puppies…all running off in different directions. Perfect for a business where you have lots of events to be planned simultaneously but I feel even they will be begging me to put the@brakes on soon 😂
We are so grateful for all our bookings. I always try my best to accommodate everyone and-with so many repeat customers, recommendations and lovely new customers it can be a juggle-especially when teaching two&a half days a week!

But. I wouldn’t have it any other way and we have so many lovely events to look forward to. I just need to say focussed so I turn up at the right events with the right tents! (Im teasing!).
This is set up was for a lucky 15 year old and his besties. An outdoor cinema for 16 plus a sleepover for 5. Just look how fab the weather was plus..what a. Backdrop! I love trees.
The inside of the tent is a little more restrained than usual-I had to channel my inner Jake (my gorgeous almost 15yr old nephew) and think what would Jake and his friends want!
I’m liking my new trick tho-printing tray inserts on photo paper. What do you think?
It was so lovely to chat with Dad whilst setting up and meet the family’s gorgeous doggy.

I feel I need a drum roll for this beautiful party! It was one of our happiest and most joyful set ups which says a lot as I always love our parties and put lots of effort towards making them just right.
This was special because Sienna was celebrating her 8th birthday and this was to be her first ever party! What an honour to be asked! X

Sienna had super cute requests: lots of pink (but pastel pink not bright), rainbows and a place to play with her Barbie dolls. How could I resist and what a treat to do a set up with such pretty colours! If you look closely you will see my beautiful garlands from .enchanted.dreamer being put to good use!

and I had hoped(&prayed!)so much for sunshine after several weeks of rain and….just look! The only downside was that the much wanted sun was so bright it made it tricky to capture the true colours inside the tent.
If anyone has any tips on the best phone cameras they would be most gratefully received!

Just look at this beautiful colour scheme for the wedding of Louise and Beckie
Was such a treat to try something different and I loved their idea of sea creatures for the soft toys.
This was to be a happy safe place for their nephews but honestly-their whole wedding seemed filled with lovely, happy guests!
Hardly surprising as they were such a sweet and thoughtful couple and even gave me wine in case it had left too messy-it wasn’t!
Thank you so much for choosing us. It really was so lovely to meet you and be a part of your special day. I hope the Maldives were amazing…seriously not jealous at all…🤔😘

Here’s a football fan’s perfect tent! We were so thrilled to be invited back to for a second time. Felix was celebrating his 11th birthday and wanted to have another football bell with props inspired by his favourite team and player. Can you guess who?
The first bell of the season and these guys were super hardy! It may have been the end of April but that sunshine stayed hidden!
Luckily for Felix and friends they got to snuggle in bed and watch movies on the canvas as his parents hired our cinema too! Always a good option! 🌟

These photos are already making me feel nostalgic…the last party set up I did before Rubes turned 18!
I loved creating this party for Donna and her beautiful daughter Isabelle. There was so much love for her and the set up was made all the sweeter by Mum and Dad’s enthusiasm to participate with fairy lights and bunting and general chatter.
Isabelle was having three friends to stay and she was so excited. It’s always such a treat to meet the party children and listen to all their plans and sleeping arrangements. These parties are always full of so much love and I’m always reminded of what a privilege it is to be invited into people’s homes and become a small part in creating happy family memories.

Super busy week at Canvas Belles this week with two bells, a wedding and a VERY exciting indoor…
I never take any party for granted so each one demands lots of lists and checks with parents/brides/hens and party hosts that I have got it completely right re colour blankets etc
As I was doing the list for a second football bell,for a lovely returning family, I suddenly realised I’d never shared this one!
After Coventry’s heroic efforts on Sunday it seems even more important that I do!
This was a surprise for Charlie’s birthday in March. Luckily I have been tutoring a Cov City fanatic so was very up on the players. Also, you don’t get to teach in a proud city like Coventry for years without feeling more than a little attached to such a great team so, it was great to add a few pictures of favourite players.
Laura was so lovely and I really admired her. Three young children yet recently graduated so could pursue an amazing career supporting young children and people.
Also, her mum worked in my very first school at the same time! I love all the little coincidences and links you find when delivering our parties.
Thank you so much for trusting us Laura. I’m so glad Charlie had a brilliant birthday surprise.
