This year Francesca has been working on new carefully curated dried flower collections including our glass baubles, wreaths, bouquets, posies, and candle bottles!
It's a long process from sowing the seeds, growing our plants to bloom, picking the flowers, drying them, and finally making beautiful products to enjoy, but boy are they magical!
This year you can purchase our dried flowers THIS WEEKEND at the Norfolk Artisan Fair and at Stonham Barns Park at their Christmas Craft Market Sat 25th & Sun 26th, at our wreath-making workshops, or by contacting Francesca directly.

Today fellow Flowers From The Farm members and I created a 'flower flash' in Bury St Edmunds on the historic Pillar of Salt signpost on Angel Hill to celebrate British grown flowers, displaying sustainable floral design (no floral foam used) and to showcase our local Suffolk and bordering (Suffolk/Norfolk border) British flower growers and florists!
All the flowers used in our interactive floral installation have been grown by our members - showcasing the variety and seasonality of British Blooms.
We received wonderful interaction and feedback including fantastic press coverage and had a truly wonderful day!

be creating an exciting and interactive floral installation in Bury St Edmunds, to celebrate British Flowers Week!
New Covent Garden Market
Our theme for this project is Regeneration - as a team including both growers and florists,
we are passionate about using our skills to create lasting and positive change in our industry and caring for both people and the planet as we do it.
Not only will we be creating
something sculptural and stunning as a testament to the power and beauty of Suffolk-grown flowers, we will be asking you, the public, to join us in adding your own floral tokens
and messages (with our support and guidance), and help us truly bring the installation to life!
We are also running a fantastic competition to help us promote this wonderful event, and
one lucky winner (Suffolk based only
please) will get to keep a beautiful piece of mosaic art created by member Wendy Phillips

This weekend we participated in the Ranveningham Centres' latest market/event.
Pitching outside of Tiling Designs incredible tile showroom Francesca created a large urn arrangement using British Blooms from our flower farm and demonstrated eco-floristry with no nasty oasis floral foam or an imported stem in sight!
It has been truly wonderful to see British grown flowers from members of Flowers From The Farm adorning Westminster Abbey for the King's coronation.
Currently, the flower industry as a whole is unsustainable and incurs a huge carbon footprint.
Using locally grown flowers and switching to sustainable floristry techniques is a must for our planet and the sustainability of the floral industry.

Our flowers are a million miles away from supermarket bunches... our flowers are truly sustainable, locally grown by Francesca from British Blooms, picked by hand and carefully arranged for you.
Our packaging is eco friendly and compostable using sting, natural craft paper and tissue paper, compostable tape and we have recently moved away from stickers, opting now for a stamp with zero plastic.
All our flowers are 100% British grown and during our season April-September every stem is grown by us organically on our flower farm 🙌

LIVING EASTER WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP Saturday 08 April 10-12.30 Fisher Gate Room, Anteros, Norwich NR3 1LJ
We are excited to announce that Francesca from British Blooms will be offering a living wreath making workshop in Norwich this Easter!
In this 2.5 hour workshop you will be taught how to create a stunning spring wreath for your door or as a centerpiece for Easter.
Choose from a great selection of seasonal spring foliage, fresh and dried flowers, moss, living plants and bulbs to create a truly beautiful and unique wreath!
Using a natural grapevine style wreath base and moss, Francesca will guide you on how to wrap your living bulbs and plants in moss, a technique used in Kokedama.
Francesca will guide you in preparing and mossing your wreath base and then attaching your plants and bulbs.
You will be taught wreath making techniques such as how to make 'bundles', small arrangements of flowers and foliage and attach these to your wreath.
British grown bulbs such as Tete a Tete miniature daffodils, delicate Puschkinia and Muscari look super mixed with stylish Sempervivum succulents and moss.
Sempervivum succulents, known as House Leeks, are hardy plants often found growing on roofs therefore, a wreath with rooted Sempervivum will grow and spread over time creating a truly 'living wreath'. The bulbs can either be left on the wreath of planted in the garden or window box after the Easter holidays!
All ingredients, tools, materials and guidance are provided during the workshop. It is advisable to bring an apron or protection for your clothes as moss can be a little messy!

Pictured is a living wreath tribute. This tribute has beautiful spring bulbs and plants of Tete a Tete daffodils, puschkinia, primrose and scented hyacinth carefully wrapped in moss and arranged amongst cut flowers and foliage.
