Lots of spring wraps going out.

These have got to be my favourites from last week.
Vibrant and full of spring was what was requested so I used purple tulips, cerise pink anemones, stunning green ranunculus with purple lisianthus and limonium.
I just hope they loved them as much as I did!

The queue at the flower stall over Valentines.

It never went down!

We’d get the queue down and we’d start to think okay, I can run to the loo, make a quick cuppa and have a bite of my sandwich (which had probably been there for hours) then another train would pull in. 😩😩Our hearts would sink.

It was relentless but we loved it.

The anxiety on the men and women’s faces that the last bucket of red roses may be gone by the time you got to the front.
The panic as people would be late for their dates or plans for the evening. Then the smug looks on the faces of those who ordered in advance (hint, hint) who walked to the front, took their pre-ordered bouquet and skipped off to their homes or off out on their dates.

These kind of memories make me miss the flower stall so much…..not the hard work, the weather over winter, wind and rain. The worst ever combination!

We always laughed our way through it and the regulars and non-regulars were always such a pleasure and a joy to have standing in a queue.
Neighbours being introduced to neighbours who didn’t even know they were neighbours always tickled me.

I miss the banter, I miss many of the faces and I miss the kindness of all of these people but they’ll always make me feel so very wholesome and will always thought about fondly.

Probably the main reason I do most of my deliveries myself.
It’s so nice to still see my regulars from the flower stall days and I will always be very grateful to them for sticking with me.

I look forward to seeing many of you next week!
